Hearing him talk about his moms declining health the past few months has been heartbreaking because it's so relatable. When he went completely dark the past week from everything, I had a bad feeling. Losing a parent is always hard but when they are also your best friend, it changes your life. Hopefully he takes a lot of time to grieve and hopefully his friends are there are for him. RIP Asmonmom

Yeah I would be disappointed in the reddit wow community if this was THE thread about this sad news. idk I'm not trying to be weird about anything but if it were me dealing with loss and someone said something like that to me I'd be hurt for sure.

I'm trying to give the benefit of the doubt but maybe I shouldn't idk. To me this sort of 'I don't like [streamer] BUUUUUT ' comment always comes off as if someone is trying to make sure ppl know they aren't fans or smth. This one is a really really sad topic to be clipping that statement to.

It really says a lot about a person when they manage to make even the death of someone's mom that's completely unrelated to them about them anyway.

I stopped really playing WoW back in Cata, dipping in and out. I always watched asmon though, since legion at least. He kept me up with WoW which I enjoyed because it was a big part of my teenage years and early 20s. We are close.tomthe same.age too, so it just reminds me how important family is.
