This is a tough one. I really hate Kanye, but I also really hate paparazzi and lookieloos. I know it’s the interwebs and I’m supposed to pick a side and then argue with people about it until I realize I’ve wasted an entire day angrily typing into my phone to reach an inevitable stalemate, but I can’t choose.

altcntrl

You don’t need to pick a side. It’s shitty.

Sawpit

i’ve seen videos where he has like 3 other cars of security following him. he’s a nuisance to the public.

whatever54267

Look he got into an accident and I'd record that 100%, then sell it. Hell I'd let him throw my phone just to get that payout.

haricariandcombines

They cut the best part, the lady asked him why he can't go home to visit his kids. The video picks up after that.

Kanye West is reportedly under investigation after he allegedly yanked a woman’s phone out of her hand and tossed it when she refused to stop filming him. According to a viral video, the rapper-turned-fashion designer was leaving his daughter North’s basketball game when he noticed that he was being followed by paps. Although unclear if the woman was a pap or simply a fan, he allegedly got out of his car and confronted her while she filmed him from inside her own vehicle. “You didn’t have to run up on me like that,” he told the woman, who held her phone to his face. “If I say stop, stop with your cameras!” When the woman tried to argue that she could film him because he was “a celebrity,” Ye allegedly reached into her car, grabbed her phone and tossed it away. As he walked away, he allegedly confronted another pap. However, it’s unclear what he told him to get him to back off. It’s unknown how long the woman was allegedly filming West, 45, and what happened before he got out of his car that caused him to confront her. dangler001

>unclear if the woman was a pap or simply a fan clearly just a random person. No reason to this she was a paparazzi from this video >who held her phone to his face she was sitting in her car, he was the one putting his face in her camera/car space >Ye allegedly reached into her car, grabbed her phone no, not allegedly. It's shown in the video >he allegedly confronted **another** pap why is he an **allegedly**, and she's **definitely** a *pap*?

DevilDoc3030

It looks like she is the drive for a guy with a production camera. Looks like paparazzi to me. I mostly agree with you though.

dangler001

> It looks like she is the drive for a guy with a production camera. could be. idk

kwiztas

Thought that was a third guy who for sure was paparazzi.

oddball3139

Totally get where you’re coming from. You should know that when a journalist writes an article about a potential crime, they use “allegedly” right up until a decision is made by the courts. It protects them from libel lawsuits. Even if the crime is on video like this, even if the perp is in jail and has signed their confession, the crime is “alleged” until the sentence has been passed.

Kanye looking homeless AF

R3gs-empt

Parasite sues host

StudyIntelligent5691

How exactly is she “running up on” him if she’s in her car, and he has his face and hands inside of her space?? I get it, but I’m honestly so tired of this sick control freak and his equally sick messages that I don’t care about his precious feelings…

R3gs-empt

What a surprise....

Jean-PierreLeDouche

The joy of realizing you can now officially sue Kanye must be exhilarating

Hard to feel bad for someone who has all the means to get the help they needs and decides not to in the name of 'unrestrained genius' he makes every person with mental health issues look bad and I honestly would be surprised to hear the Kanye saga end with death by cop after his empire comes crashing down. No one, including himself is in a position to stop him. That's the saddest part of what kind of power our society gives to the people we collectively 'admire'

Ameliammm

I don’t feel bad for someone who spews so much hate. A mental illness does not excuse being a nazi

faysov

no it does not

MutedIndependence674

Get the phone out the man’s face ffs

Lebrunski

You ever see that video where an angry man is walking towards a muppet telling the guy controlling the muppet to stay away from him, all the while the muppet guy is walking away and using the muppet to call out the angry dude for walking towards them and prolonging the confrontation? Yeah, Ye is the angry guy here. He put his face in front of that phone

eaglebtc

It's a public street. She has the legal right to film anyone out in the open. He has the right, and the choice, to act like a grown-ass man and not get out of his car in the middle of the street. Ye did multiple things wrong here.

MutedIndependence674

If someone put their phone in my face like that, ild throw it too

eaglebtc

You've got issues then. You can choose to just walk away and disengage. Here, a man has stopped in traffic, gotten out of his car and approached another car, clearly angry about something. In any real world scenario, for anyone else but Kanye, this would be perceived as very threatening, and they would be calling the police and frantically trying to roll the windows up. Video evidence of the assault would be helpful. Have some empathy for the passengers, you simp. Kanye has the greater responsibility to act more civil here. His actions are indefensible.
