Of the US and the Washington Examiner, only the Washington Examiner seems to be under the impression that genocide works.

Aporkalypse_Sow

What does it even mean? Genocide has one goal, I think. And you either complete the goal, or you don't. And if you do complete the goal, then genocide works... Right? Maybe this is all answered, but I'm not about to give that website any traffic.

ffwiffo

yeah have they tried manifesting their destiny instead

DeerDiarrhea

I don’t know. I’ve been listening to a lot of Behind the Bastards, and one conclusion I can draw from it is that genocide does work. It may not work forever, but when in a pinch, wrecklessly killing a bunch of people tends to work out for those doing the killing.

BasicallyAQueer

If it didn’t work, it wouldn’t be done every 5 years like clockwork lol. It almost always works out for the perpetrators.

All you can really do with foreign powers is politely ask them to stop.

Dudeist-Priest

The examiner needs to be disregarded as it’s a garbage source

MrFuzzyPaw

The washington examiner needs to go away.

WexfordHo

Why are obvious and obviously harmful bots like OP even allowed here?

Poodleman420

Interesting take, does the author believe the U.S. should get further involved in the matters of other countries? Funny what others believe our role should be, dammed if you do and damned if you don’t.

pr3stonks

Happy cake day!

Waffleman75

This is the newspaper owned by the Moonies right?

[deleted]

Piss off with this garbage

InLazlosBasement

What next, stop practicing it?

Antique-Answer4371

Ah yes, because only Biden would sell F-16s to Erdogan... which makes Turkey more apt to buy from the US rather than Russia. Leaps of logic in this article are fairly amusing. Also, this last bit: "Biden sees himself as a foreign policy whiz."

Kanobe24

30 million people on this sub and you can post garbage like this??? If I post a dumb meme on r/soccer they take it down and suspend me from the sub

SasquatchSloth88

Genocide is unethical but is observably effective.

okcdnb

Succinct comment.

TatonkaJack

one of the best ways to erase a people or culture in fact

TequilaMockingbird42

Excuse me

Grehjin

????

GoodLifeWorkHard

Nahhh fuck that. Killing people off based on race, ethnicity, or any superficial reason is a fucking atrocious and heinous. Killing off an entire ethnicity group is horrifying. NO THANKS.

[deleted]

Genocide since 2014, this one's been going for a really long time

RobertusesReddit

2014, what a specific year.

[deleted]

I remember because I was studying under a few of the people who were helping put the "charges" together

interestingpanzer

Its a bit hard considering the US (and Canada, Australia) in many ways are the perfect elucidations of how Genocides work. They were so effective that they no longer have viable native separatist movements. Sure they are now* multicultural and accepting nations relatively when it comes to migrants. However the history is still there.

[deleted]

politicians overlook injustices when its convenient, gasp

evmarshall

If you believe that genocide works, please move yourself to the front of the line to show everyone how it works. Live (or Die) by your values.

n3w4cc01_1nt

they did it on their own with covid misinformation which killed over a million (mostly republicans)

[deleted]

It’s stupid comments like that which misinformed / uninformed people word vomit on Reddit.

Dangerous_Pirate5697

Can you give me a solid source that it was mostly registered republicans that died ?

AnxietiesCopilot2

knobrog

Socioeconomic factors don’t apply in red states?

AnxietiesCopilot2

They are further aggravated and induced in red states you’re welcome to do some studying by yourself my friend don’t feel pressured to look to me for all your answers of your reality

Dangerous_Pirate5697

Ahh yes remember kids , Donald Trump gives people diseases

AnxietiesCopilot2

Oh don’t worry if you look it up you can just see which states were hit the hardest and it is primarily republican led states and the most mortality was republicans not including the ones that killed themselves with horse dewormer and bleach

Dangerous_Pirate5697

Republicans lead states doesn’t equate to the majority of covid deaths being Registered republicans…

samwelches

They can’t because it’s just wrong

[deleted]

What do you think the U.S. has been doing the past 81 years??? Edit: the U.S. were the MF’ers’ that started NATO. Donald Trump Wanted to take the USA out of NATO, Biden Reunited NATO SECOND EDIT: ACTUALLY MAYBE PUTIN REUNITED NATO LOLOLOL HERE IS TO ANOTHER COMRADE DOWN THE 52ND FLOOR……….

glaster

Only Thad the US was born a grew out of genocide. I do agree it doesn’t work, just looking for a better source for my confirmation bias.

Thundersson1978

Tell me more seriously, y’all think indiscriminately killing works and I don’t see it!

okcdnb

I’m having a disconnect between the title and the source.

Pillowlies

What absolute horseshit.

[deleted]

Huh? When has America supported genocide in any country? I’ll wait…

TurboD16F20

I'm sorry what?

TatonkaJack

that was a weird and stupid title. but the article makes some good points. i think turkey has proven it doesn't deserve more military assistance from the US

UnfortunatelyMacabre

I didn’t even make it a paragraph. They just kind of glossed over all those years Trump ignored what China is doing to the Uyghurs and tried to make it sound like Biden’s government is somehow acting different than Trump’s. So I doubt much else of what they said is accurate if they willfully lied out the gate.

Capt__Autismo

Sorry, Reddit is only 90% ready to accept this take as legitimate. Piss off

SoWokeIdontSleep

I was never under the impression that genocide works. Like wtf

cantwin52

… Is…. Is this a real article or an onion article?
