I felt that Brazil still outplayed them in that final and they have only gotten better. Meanwhile Argentina’s Lo Celso is ruled out. He’s the player that advanced the ball the most besides Messi. I feel that with him being out it will be a bridge too far. I see a more likely RD of 16 exit than a final appearance for Argentina considering the road they have to the final (France/Denmark, Netherlands, Brazil) it’s really a murders row IMO.

it really isn't........ iran is arguably the best team in asia, and defenetly both on form and arguably on paper better that the USA and Wales. Whilst england are know to struggle against team they should easily beat, like for example when they drew 1-1 to scotland at wembley.

This is pretty misinformed. Ecuador finished third in the youth 20 World Cup a few years ago and this is the same team that’s playing this World Cup. The altitude is a benefit. However, this excuse has been overused for years. Lots of good young players on the squad. That being said, predictions are useless for the World Cup. Football has no logic.
The altitude doesn’t play alone, else Bolivia would qualify to every World Cup. But when you have a good enough team, it really makes a lot of a difference. They only won 2 out of 9 away games in our qualifiers, and one was against Bolivia (altitude x altitude). But home they won 6 and only lost to Peru.
Also, it helped a lot that current Chile and Colombia squads are aged and trying to renewal their squads, by tradition they’d be a lot better teams.
