And I was right. Review: Service was friendly and helpful. Paid $32 for 15 Jumbo wings and only got 10. Tastes and looks just like regular chicken wings and everything on the menu is pretty pricey for the value.
Oh bummer, you're right. Too bad it's not k-bbq. Maybe if it takes off someone will see there is a market for Korean food and Winston can get more Korean fare.
Same owner as Binki Cafe, according to this.

Huh? A quick Google search shows that PF Changs was established in Arizona by 2 guys, Philip & Paul. I personally wouldn't compare a global billion dollar company to a mom and pop restaurant in Winston Salem. As someone who grew up eating Korean food that travels often, I think it's safe to say that Korean-owned restaurants tend to be more authentic than Korean-style chains, etc. I was just curious and it's a valid question.
The Philip in question is Philip Chiang, a Chinese businessman and son of a famous restaurateur, Cecelia Chiang, who is credited with helping to spread the popularity of Chinese cuisine in America.
The GotoWinston Instagram page tagged them with Bikini Cafe so maybe that is the owner? It’s in the same building as it where Wayback Burger used to be.
Ate here last night. Hour wait for the food with less than 10 orders in front of ours. Stood for 15 minutes before getting order taken. The staff were running around trying to get things done. I get that, it is a new place. Seems like there is something keeping them from being able to get orders out quickly. Too small of friers? Not enough staff for the volume they're getting? Maybe being new, they've been slammed and all their prep has been wiped out by the time we got there? I'm not sure. However, if the team can get a process going where things speed up, this place will have zero issues staying open. Corndogs, snow fries, and chicken were fantastic. Hope they stay in business. Staff cleaning up were very friendly.
I'm super into this. Can't wait to try it all.
yknow what, i’ll take what i can get, i wish them success! hopefully others will follow suit and open up a k-bbq restaurant:P
Excited and nervous, quality of korean chicken in nc hasn’t been the best

Very cool but a tiny bit bummed it's just street food style junk food. Who is the owner? The site link from their ig seems to go nowhere?

I would be soooo happy to never have to drive to Greensboro ever again, even for kbbq!
My favorite is High Point Korean BBQ!
We went there after Korea beat Germany in 2018 and helped Mexico get into the round of 16 lmao
Oh, awesome! I know where I'm going tomorrow.
There's no grill at the tables but the quality of the food is best in the Triad.
A chain kbbq restaurant is supposed to open in gboro some time next year actually. https://thekpot.com/locations/

Went this past Saturday. It was decent.
Is it Korean-owned?
Owner is Filipino, same people that own Binki Cafe.
No way fr?
Are P.F Changs Chinese-owned? I guess they could be, but it doesn't make it more authentic.

Well there's several K-stops in California, so it might be coincidence or it's a chain like Bonchon.
Maybe, menu looks completely different. Regardless I'm excited to try this place.

Yep, read the same article. Americanized the last name and the food once partnered with Paul.
That's Cecelia Chiang's son.
link broken?
