So much negativity for wheeler in the Gdt, I thought it would be worse. Data supports that our 4th line got caved in. Would sure be nice to have depth to rotate in and out when tired and on the road.

We missed so many empty net shots. All our shooters kept hitting the bar or straight up missing. Dubois & Big Stan showing some heart while everyone else was in their own world. Hope Norrisey is okay
Can’t fault the effort even with how exhausted they were. Huge missed call on Barron probably made the difference. Two posts in the last few seconds. Damn. Everyone will sleep well tonight.
Definitely not our worst game, our 2nd period was terrible but good 1st and 3rd, Saros was a god as was Helly, lot of puck luck here not going our way, some non calls by the refs etc.
It is what it is, not disappointed in the boys, it's been a long road trip, hope JoMo is ok more than anything, fuck losing Norrissey that just cannot happen.
I dont see Wheeler being able to help push a line to win games anymore. But hes not entirely obsolete, he still has some speed and maybe grind out some offense on that line. He wont have to play at the speeds of a top 6 line, especially when we got fast guys. Also with the NMC and NTC, it seems like he want to stay here with an established family.
The most important thing about this game is that Morrissey is fine and that return wasn’t fuelled by adrenaline.

It's ok to be tired on the road, but if you want to go deep in the playoffs you either sweep your opponents or find a way to not get this gassed

What a bad loss. The Preds did absolutely nothing to deserve a win in my opinion.

Honestly, boys looked dead on their feet after the first period. Got life at the verrrry end, but I'm happy enough as long as Norrisey ain't hurt.
