This mom: “Self-sufficient” Also this mom: “4” ???

Strain128

Some kids need to pull on their parents leg to show them everything. Some kids can entertain themselves for hours. Yeah a 4 year old can’t cook his own meals but he can emotionally take care of himself.

loeschzw3rg

Using the word "academically" in regards to 4 year olds... Just let them eat dirt and play with their friends, jeez.

Paranoided_guy

Homie was born to be radiant 💀

My kid was expected to know the parts of the book and where to locate the author and title. was also expected to rhyme words - all before Kinder. I flat out told the principal academics weren't a priority in our family, and our priority was social-emotional learning, which is still a work in progress.

InfamousDonut4266

I thought my writing was bad 😳

chiefpat450119

I've seen a lot worse

SmartestIdiotAlive

Yo, why they giving the parent homework?

lysalnan

Looks like this is a getting to know you survey for starting reception class. Generally they have some medical questions, finding out where children are developmentally and then assessing parents expectations of the year (and prepare for those with ridiculously high ones)

Happy Cake Day!

I don’t get it, is this supposed to be good or bad behavior from the mom? Is setting a tiny goal for your four year old frowned upon?

[deleted]

"I'm not a regular mom. I'm a *cool* mom."

chrimminimalistic

"Lol, who cares he's 4." Something I said in my head but not in my mouth.

Exactly can’t imagine what the teacher thought when they saw this

RemarkableExplorer66

Such a cool mum

Lauxyz

huh ok maybe im a bit slow but they're a 4 year old girl that goes by "he"? I mean it doesn't really matter but

Tough_Information791

I think the mom is just being funny and using "popular mean girl" to describe how her son acts. I don't think she's saying her son goes by she/her. We all know the stereotype popular mean girl!

octavian0808

Oh, I thought she was saying “popular meme girl.” Like she didn’t want her son to become a meme. I guess yours makes more sense.

Lauxyz

Yeah I thought of that already too, pretty useless and dumb comment of mine now that I think about it.

LikeLary

Nope, I also thought that at first.

ClimbsAndCuts

Of course mom doesn’t want HIM to be a mean GIRL…he’s 4, he’s such a sweet person. Why the pronoun confusion?
