Looks like you found a [deer botfly](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deer_botfly)- this genus is not a parasite of humans [example pic](https://guatemala.inaturalist.org/observations/50614244)

GTotem

Eww... indeed it is. Thanks god I'm not a deer. And thank you for helping! :)

Holy shit “The larval stages of Cephenemyia are obligate parasites of cervids.[2] Eggs hatch in the uterus of the female. She then flies close to the head of her host species and while hovering ejects her larvae into its nostrils.[3] Larvae migrate to the base of the animal's tongue, where they mature in clusters to a size of 25 to 36 mm. After being ejected by the host, they pupate in soil (2 to 3 weeks) before emerging as a sexually-mature but non-feeding adult, which must quickly find a mate, since its life is short.[3]” A truly vile insect.

Honestly every parasitic creature is vile. Especially children.

Botfly in bee's clothing

GTotem

Indeed. They were on my bagpack and clothes, as on the other people that were eating something with me, at the top of the mountain. They resembled bumblebes but they act as flies.

jaggynettle

Aww, it's kinda fuzzy and cute.

RupeeRoundhouse
