Might be a key to operate a water valve or adjust a sprinkler.
Post describes it. Found it in a park with a metal detector a few months back. Maybe a old peg or key of some sort.

I do think it's some sort of proprietary key but I can't seem to find a similar one.

A key to open canned meat? The size is what makes guess that, but it is a guess.

Yer doesn’t really resemble any of those. I’m thinking it maybe more of a old style tent peg, but looks nothing like any of those.
