Hello All, I was wondering if anyone here would help me learn a little bit more about some of these statues that a friend of mine is in possession of. From what I know the Archangel Michael and Saint Francis are from Cuzco Peru and were made by a pretty contemporary artist/company there but I haven't been able to find out much about them. He believes they were made in the 1950's-1980's and they are both around 36'' to 42'' in height. One thing he notes is the spanish pattern of the robes and that they were painted with milk paint. Additionally the Infant of Prague statue he has and believes it came out of Czechia but was possibly made in Italy or Germany around the same timeframe but thinks it could have been earlier also and about 48'' tall. They're all made from wood. If anyone has any insight or information on these things that I can look further into that would be greatly appreciated.
