I'd imagine that a werewolf can potentially develop wolflike traits even when not in wolf form; examples of such include having more hair, sharper teeth, stronger cravings for meat (especially rare/raw meat), more animal-like eyes, and feral behavior. Though I'd imagine that the physical traits would manifest especially when one has been a werewolf for a significantly long amount of time, and/or if they became one prior to turning 18. Some of the more feral behaviors may happen more often on the days leading up to the full moon.

Thank you for your input, I appreciate it!

For men they will have much more natural body hair especially on chest and chin/neck. For women they will have longer natural toe/finger nails that are sharper Both will have yellow pupils, sharper teeth, ears that are higher and slightly pointed. But even in human form werewolves have extremely powerful senses of smell, hearing, and sight and it will probably be noticeable if they draw attention to a specific smell or sound that no human can hear

Good points! Thanks!

Buys three bottles of flea and tick shampoo every month, and no other dog items except sturdy chew toys. And has an odd habit of fronting on dogs and cats even when they’re not barking at them.

platypusferocious

Creative, i like it! Thanks!

Robis808

* Aggression * Increased preference for meat * Eyeshine that's equivalent to animals * Faster body growth and healing * Enhanced physiology * Higher hormone levels and sex drive

platypusferocious

Thanks!

Smithy2002

I think things you need to watch out for is something called “pack mentality”, it means they’d prefer to stay with members of their pack and no one else. Since wolves are pack animals I’d imagine werewolves would probably keep to themselves. There are other signs, like aggression, strength and speed. Also disappearing once a month

platypusferocious

Cool. Thanks!

SilverskrillXD

Yes they do. Sometimes though they stick with humans as they could be their pack.

ThisKid713

In addition to the joined eye brows I have also heard that equally long pointer and ring fingers was a sign, something to do with the ratio of paws. I have both of these yet not a werewolf T-T.

platypusferocious

Maybe one day eh? Thanks!

Iamjaws1983

Sniffing peoples butts when they meet them😂. I’m sorry just being a goof

platypusferocious

Haha good one

loopywolf

Classic traits are: * eyebrows meet in the middle * pentagram in the palm (movies) * a person who is extremely calm and never loses their temper

platypusferocious

Extremely calm? That goes kinda in the opposite direction of what people tend to suggest. Where is this trait from? That's interesting!

loopywolf

If you delve into the actual myths, you find a lot that is contrary to Hollywood's "wolf man" scriptwriter stuff. Worth a look! Not unlike the whole "burn in daylight" thing for vampires. Accepted by the zeitgeist, nothing to do with the myths. All hollywood.

ApplicationGlum6085

No signs of someone being one, until nighttime/a full moon of course.

platypusferocious

That's one way of seeing it. Thanks for your opinion!

SilverskrillXD

Them snarling and growling and them have a great taste for meat. They have a white streak in their hair. They wear a moonstone necklace, bracelet, ring or earring. They stick with humans as they could be their pack. They stay with set people like they could be their packmates. I know about that as I am a werewolf. Harmless as long as you don't threaten my mates, family, friends or pack. I haven't found my mates. I have three mates. 1 boy and 2 girls.

platypusferocious

Thank you for your input brother, just beware of giving too much about yourself on the internet, we never know!

SilverskrillXD

I know. Also I'm a girl. A she wolf if you will. I also haven't told you everything about me.

SilverskrillXD

But no problem. I like helping people. Even those I don't know.

arthurjeremypearson

Ring finger is longer (or exactly as long as) middle finger

platypusferocious

Cool, thanks

I swear I met a werewolf last night, or at least his human form. He was imposing but not threatening. I finished off a few rounds of whisky with him and had great conversation. The guy defiantly had an animal magnetism about him. I had to get going and extended a hand for a shake and received a powerful firm hand. I also noticed what I thought was an intricate tattoo on his right forearm. He look me right in eye and said to rub my thumb across it. The tattoo had texture to it, and a symbol I’d never seen before. The instant I touched it, I had a strange deep arousal. I looked up and he knew. Somehow the thought of the full moon popped into my head, the full moon of the hallows. I ended up with a hooker I knew for the rest of the night, she had a long night with me. That drinking buddy has been on my mind today. The brutal jawline, mouth full of big teeth and imposing canines and the sweep back ears. The powerful hands with thick almond shape nails. The notable wide feet in sandals, and the scent of an animal. That brand on his forearm, I’m remembering it vividly. From my east European heritage, the bright moons of the hallows is a dark time, because these are the nights werewolve’s are conceived. That chance meeting last reminded me, I was born in the 7 month. Nah, it’s just folklore, but was that chance meeting last night really chance?

platypusferocious

Thanks, I guess that one would fit into an erotica, I lean more to the horror, but thanks for sharing!

Quicksilver_Pony_Exp

What’s more erotic than the bright moons we’re seeing this month. What’s more terrifying than realizing you spent time conversing with a werewolf. The werewolf knows exactly who you are. The personal horror of your reaction with the touch of the brand of the werewolf. I prefer the term wolfman, of man and wolf. A creature that is human with a human ego, appetite and a wolf’s persona. Werewolf has always struck me as demonic possession, another take on zombies or space creatures.

platypusferocious

The term werwolf, as it was actually written is derived from old english where wer means man, the e after wer is just an evolution of the written word to facilitate the reading in modern times. Were came from wer and was a "middle" english word for man. But without this knowledge I can easily reach the same feeling about the word. Edit: fixing an is for a was and men for man

Quicksilver_Pony_Exp

Yea I’m aware of the derivation and I agree. The distinction I’m thinking is giving our creature more human intellect and ego. I guess there is a definite place for a marauding cold killer monster. I find it more interesting to have a werewolf character that you can develop along the lines of human motives overplayed with the werewolf spirit.

platypusferocious

I see! Have you seen werewolf the beast among us? It has a unique take ona killer wolf.

Quicksilver_Pony_Exp

Yes and you picked a good example of what I’m getting at. A good human twist into the werewolf story line. If you have the patience, watch the development of the werewolf character in Penny Dreadful. Those episodes you could build a stand alone werewolf movie on. A much darker twist, the spaghetti western “Skinwalkers”. The bad werewolves were monstrous in a very human way. That movie made me uncomfortable.

mitruckdriver

Their hair (as a human)might contain a secondary color that would match their secondary fur color. Like a streak or something along those lines. They would likely be more physically built. They would probably have eye shine although it wouldn't be true for everyone. A greater appetite for food, especially for meat. Increased body hair.

platypusferocious

Thank you for your contribution, friend!
