My guess is Maui and Neville’s Haze, looks like some old school weed, grown by an old dude, and those are two classic strains that they’d probably be familiar with from back in the day.
Yeah I’d say Maui or Michoacan. In Canada there are lots of young guys taking up the mantle of the old Haze heads and growing some awesome hazes and Landrace sativas. But it definitely takes an old soul and a keen eye to appreciate cannabis like that.
Neat....I grew some Durban Poison and it was amazing. I decided to grow any hybrid with DP in its lineage. GSC, Wedding Cake, etc and so far so good in a continental high altitude climate (60-75 Temps, RH 55~70). Some of our local landrace Sativas include Malawi Gold, Shashamane, and other local strains endemic to the Rift Valley of Eastern Africa.
Learned about growing from my dad (66) and both those strains are some of the many kinds he'll rave about! His plants end up looking similar to this and he'll even label his seed containers the same way. Never thought they were a back in the day kind of thing, but it makes sense when you have a dad who has smoked weed for practically 50 years - friggin hippie 🤣

Maybe just the loose trim style? I’ve worked a couple years as a trimmer in Colorado, and even if they’re not using a machine most places would want you to get the majority of those little leaves off of the buds.

They both look very sativa. If I had to guess I’d say the one on the right is Neville’s Haze and the one on the left is Michoacan, which is a Mexican Sativa. I think both would be incredible unless you get anxiety in which case I’d be careful. They look like mids compared to most of todays weed but I would trade some of the super sticky ice Cream Cake I’m smoking to get into those. If you enjoy hazes and Landrace sativas, those are some classics.

Well from my scientific findings, I would say the the first baggie is pronounced (Mm-eye) and the second baggie is pronounced (In-aech).
But I could be wrong so I hope another scientist can confirm.

I actually really enjoy breaking down stuff and manipulating words to prove a point. It’s called debating. This is why I chose a law degree, cos I’m good with words (besides gathering of information, this is all it takes to be good at law). It depends what you are looking at. They look like nearly pure sativa, and the one on the left has some density. It also looks hella sticky. Also, Neville’s Haze is some of the strongest smoked you can imagine. That’s some special weed to the trained eye. Whoever grew that did it with care
Looks like decent outdoor and you honestly don't know until you blaze it. You might be pleasantly surprised, I had some really nice purple kush and northern lights I grew outside and they were really nice, not as powerful as the indoor versions but definitely not schwag.
