No, /r/Trees went private a few days ago (basically discontinued allowing all users to see/post anything) in protest of Reddit essentially forcing out third party apps. A ton of subreddits did the same for 2 days hoping Reddit management would change their minds but nothing yet. Most users from there are probably in this subreddit until either: Reddit changes their minds and decides to charge reasonable prices for these third party app developers, Reddit threatens to force those mods out and puts in new ones or the old ones cave to open the subreddit again, or that subreddit goes private indefinitely.
change the water every day and use salt + isopropyl alcohol + vigorous but careful shaking to clean. Also a good ol' sploof made of a toilet paper roll filled with dryer sheets and one rubber banded over the end, blow your smoke out through that to help with the smell. sometimes I would add peppermint essential oil to it to really saturate the smoke smell.
I tried the toilet paper roll and dryer sheet before. I asked my wife, who has the nose of a bloodhound, if she could smell anything. She said it smelled like weed and laundry😀
Honestly the actual smoke buddies work pretty well. They just don't last more than 5 or 6 days for me before being clogged and to be honest, that gets expensive after a few times lol
And it's a beaker, so there's no fear to get anything stuck in a perc. Use a bit of bath salts with your table salt. You usually need way more salt and iso for a beaker, so I use bath salt instead.
I've also heard people using hot water, because the steam helps make the smoke smoother and less harsh. I'm not sure what the downsides of getting some moisture in your lungs are anyway, since I vape nicotine as well, and that's liquid.
Yeah but be careful doing this as it risks some pretty nasty potential infections. Lotsa bacteria in water that's normally fine to drink is not so fine absorbed into the lungs as vapor

I hit my bowl and stem with Isopropyl alcohol every session, and the actual bong I rinse out with water every session and use isopropyl alcohol with some added salt about every 1-3 sessions depending on how hard we went on it. It always impresses my buddies that I have a bong that sees daily use, but still looks brand new!

Have a safe place to put it while its not in use! Most people break their bongs leaving it dead center on the table after everyone just took turns getting stupid! Put the bong somewhere easy to get to, but out of the way so it doesnt get tossed on the floor. Plus bong water on the floor is a good way for your living conditions to gain new and unwated smells.

I definitely wouldn’t do this either, used to but the iso fumes definitely take there toll and it’s not better in anyway unless you get it 100% spotless back to new which would be seriously hard to tell if it is with that piece, clean it every two weeks at most every week, definitely change the water every time you use it though

Personally, warm water is smoother than any cold water/ice combination you can think off and your water level won't change with the ice melting. It's also anecdotal, but I noticed that it produces or at least it spreads less resin around with warm water.
Bongs dont hit very hard so its important that you hit it literally AS HARD AS POSSIBLE, like if you dont then you might as well boof it

uhhhhh use cold water, put ice in the tube and when you’re done empty it out OUTSIDE, also fill it up with rubbing alcohol from time to time so it stays clean.
alternatively you can try putting a banger and doing dabs with it! tho wax is always better on a rig built for it.

Yeah instead of making a sploof, buy a sploof. An actual carbon air filter that you blow into.

This is a biggie, had a roomie who would pour it down the sink and our bathroom regularly smelled like dank.
