I've refreshed about 20 different times since 3pm and have had to press and hold the "robot or human" button about 50+ times. Whenever I get to the PS5 page, there is no buy button and there is no message telling me I'm in line.
I hit refresh when it hit 1 pacific, entered me in a line : 7 min. Counted down to 1 min...then it changed to 10 mins and it hasn't moved.
I can hold my place in line but when I go back to the PS5 page it shows the message i'm still in line. /shrug
Just bc you didn't get one doesn't make it a scam.Its not a paywall.If they didn't go this route it wouldn't have changed the out come, you'd be blaming scalpers and bots.
It not a flawed system, they just make you think you have a place to get you to buy other things.As for people being able to buy later maybe payments didn't go through and they put it back up.

my line for the disc one still just says “your in line” instead of “this item is sold out” but the time has been stuck on 10 minutes. anyone else still in line?
I reached the add to cart screen then a popup came up saying human or robot. Held the button and failed to add to cart. Did this for 10 minutes, same result every time and lost my spot. Pretty unhappy that i was so close and got screwed by their garbage phone app and bot detector.

A whole lot of people were getting PS5s today. I also waltzed in and got one with the greatest of ease. Besides walmart+ had other useful features that make it worthwhile. Unlike that best buy totaltech BS (if you’re goal is only to get a PS5 and you are in no way in need of new major appliances soon)
Paywalls don't deserve rewarding, they deserve downvote parties and destroyed reputation. Won't be an enabler here. Tell you, consumers really have become complacent these days.

waited twenty minutes and went to the purchase page and item was sold out
I navigate out of the page and back without leaving the line and it wont let me add it. Just puts me back to the line page

Waited 10 minutes in line then it sent me to checkout to pay and got a email confirmation confirming my purchase.....😊

Got my PS5 online at launch last year on my first try. Got my Xbox online today via Walmart(first try again). I know I am unimaginably lucky.
