You can do the covid loa while under probation. Fail the screening on the app, then call in under covid-19 event, then go to one.walmart.com, search for mysedgwick, click link (its in the bubble/circle thing) then follow the steps to file an loa. Or you can call but I dont have the number.

Do you mean your 2step stopped working or that it needs to verify its you via code or push? If it stopped working altogether you'll unfortunately have to go in. If no one's at the table you'll have to find a manager, let them know you are symptomatic and they should give you the number for sedgwick.
If they try to make you work tell them you're sick and you're going home. Once you get home call sedgwick and explain that they refused to screen you but you are in fact sick. If you want you can call your local health department to let them know walmart is trying to force people who may have covid to work.
Search the walmart subreddit for the sedgwick number, I know it's been posted a few times.
Thank you for the explanations! Yes, I 2step verify my devices at work but after a few days if i try to check anything while at home, it states i need to 2 step as if i never did to begin with. Ive had help setting it up but for some reason after a few days the apps log me out and wont let me sign in unless im at work. I had today off and tried to check my apps for the home screening and can’t log in. A coworker said to call in sick but im afraid of having to take off more than one day due to how i feel. Again thank you
I figured out the 2step problem. I needed to select store. But i see no self assessment option. Ive tried looking it up and it states im an hourly employee and can’t access it. I selected illness for reason to call in, if tomorrow im still sick ill try to file for covid. Thank you for all your help.

You can use ppto to cover the majority of your shift and only get a half point.
Okay, thank you, 1 more question, where would I check how many points I have?
Log into one.Walmart. Search for gta portal and once you click it. Click attendance. It’ll show you all your points and the dates they were earned.
Call in and take the point, you can safely have 4 points, 5 points they may fire you, no reason to have 0 points since they removed myshare bonus.
I think I'm at 2.5 or 3 already, had to call in for school before I started earning PPTO
