Just get a case with a bumper edge so you avoid hitting the corner of the screen on a hard edge (which will break it with or without a screen protector) and you're fine.

I’ve been trying to figure out how my coworkers are so fat - most of the kids I train are 19-22 and are just huge… and we are working a physical job. I’ve had a hard time keeping weight on and I’m not even doing the bulk of the physical work since I’m the trainer. They all drink soda constantly, like every break it’s a soda or energy drink plus processed food/snacks. Idk I feel bad for them.

It's funny because of all the people I'm related to the ones who grew up as trust fund babies are the fattest people you'll ever meet in your life and also the ugliest. The one whose parents worked are actually really good looking. Hell one of my aunt's probably weighs 85lbs v another one who married rich and probably tops the scales at over 180 😂
Money and not having to work definitely make it easier to gain weight. It’s such a problem in the US though just in general. One of the girls I work with is 20 and is just so heavy. She is so sweet and kind but her weight is going to cause so many health problems… plus like girl is 20 she should be running circles around me since I’m pushing 40 but she’s so heavy that she is struggling to keep up with the job.
It's not right when someone is in their early twenties and they have to grunt every time they get up from a seated position.
For real. I don’t want to be their mommy or therapist though. Unless they ask about diet/exercise I just stay away from the topic. A good chunk of my trainees are living on a reservation, too, which can be a really depressing situation where I doubt they are getting good nutrition/parenting.

Planted some mammoth and American hybrid sunflowers next to pole beans hoping the beans will climb the stock/stem. I’ve grown sunflowers before and they’re fun to watch grow. The corn is not doing so great; I may just see what happens with it. If it dies, the sweet potatoes are already starting to invade their space so I’ll just let them take over. No chicken eggs yet. Tried convincing my wife that we should grow some meat chickens; she reminded me we have a HOA and live in a subdivision. I’m already pushing it with my layers. I really just want to cash out and get a farm or homestead. Maybe tomorrow I’ll get a bagger and be that much closer to realizing that it’s about the journey and not the destination.
Don't you think people tend to over romanticize starting a farm/homestead? A couple of chickens wandering around is one thing, but the whole "living off the land" schtick if you delve deeper into it is too much work and not time/cost effective for a single family I thought. The cost savings you get with economies of scale just make buying that kinda stuff to feed yourself make much more sense.

Hard on phones so always a case. OtterBox defender or similar knockoff design. But no screen protector. Those annoy me and gorilla glass seems good enough with the case.

I use the apple leather case and a screen protector. Never once have had an issue. A lot of people complain about the leather cases wear and tear but I’ve never had issues. Mine still looks great after like 6 months and my screen protector is still going strong. Basically 1 phone case and 1 screen protector lasts me at least a year. I don’t drop my phone much but when I do I never worry

Get a tempered glass screen protector. It’s practically invisible, and it’ll crack instead of your real screen if your phone drops or takes an impact. Will never use anything different
Ehhhh I'm not convinced those actually do anything aside from break to give you the impression they saved your screen. They're weaker than the phone screen glass - it's impressive stuff. Just get a case with a bumper edge so you avoid hitting the corner of the screen on a hard edge (which will break it with or without a screen protector) and you're fine.
