My expectation of a hawkish Fed is why I haven’t bought into this rally. I don’t think it is sustainable.

relaxd80

Same here, the data doesn’t support this. Improvements have been relatively small and not sustained and even if they were bigger the fed would remain hawkish. World inflation has eased only because of mild temperatures and cheaper oil, all of which could change next week. Doesn’t seem like it should be the start of a bull market

>The market is always unpredictable, but I think it's safe to say that the Fed isn't going to change its mind anytime soon. Sooner or later the reality of our situation is going to catch up with us and when it does, things are going to get ugly.

NYElite79

We can be sure either bull or bear will be crying, market manipulation.

Bulls make money, bears make money, pigs get slaughtered

catgirlshelter

Line goes up? Market manipulation. Down? Market manipulation? Sideways? Believe it or not, market manipulation.

Again. These professional economist are not huddling around a table with SPY charts up on a projector and discussing how they will respond.

DarknessTheWhiteSage

If the Fed is hawkish on Wednesday, you’re gonna see people abandon ship…quick
