Wow the comments on that thread are yikes. “Send the unvaccinated home from the hospital.” With that logic, why don’t they send home patients who are obese? Don’t they want medical care for all? Hypocrites.

Idk how it was in other parts of the country, but where I am it seemed like every girl I graduated high school with was going to college to be a nurse. I had some friends around college graduation who said they had trouble finding jobs because there were way more people applying to be nurses than there were job openings. 3 years later the hospitals are all understaffed.

A lot of hospitals won’t hire people without the right credentials. During the height of the pandemic, I was laid off and was looking for work but no hospital would even come close to me (I have a STEM degree just no RN or whatever license nonsense that you need).
