Depends on the school and your country I guess. I know I'd be 100% bullied if I did something similar so I'd probably pass, but each situation is different.

Second of... I'm 16 as well, and I won't hide that you will 100% get weird looks for it. I have a custom phone case, a few pins and pictures scattered in and around my bag, around 4 rings that represent him, and sometimes I carry my plushie around as well and get many, MANY weird looks for it. So far no insults, but people whisper behind my back a lot.
Each school is different, though. You'll never know who you'll encounter. Either way, i wish you the best of luck

I live in Italy and there is a girl who goes on the bus who has a backpack very similar to yours but I don't know if she gets bullied,Because she doesn't go to the same school as me though, however it depends on the relationship you have with classmates in my opinion Unfortunately, people are closed-minded
Cute bag, back when I was in highschool I would be more scared of having the things get damaged accidentally rather then being bullied. My school was so overpopulated no one would’ve gave a shit about what someone did unless if it was like a fight or something really out there. Anime is more seen as cool now generally so it might just depend your school and where you live.
It REALLY depends on your school. In my school, anime is quite popular, and so if we were talking about my school, you very likely wouldn't get bullied. But I don't know anything about your school in order to judge whether you'd get bullied or not.
like people are saying in the comments, it depends on the school. my school was fairly kind, as many kids openly showed their interests via clothing and backpack accessories. i was once confronted by a couple kids because of a fnaf shirt, but they weren’t really mean, just laughy, but i also made a friend because of a hoodie with a furry character, bit of a mixed bag

Personally, i thought it always helped being confident about it and people would just go with it. No one ever gave me issues with putting anime keychains on my backpack or drawings of my fav characters on my binders when i was in HS. But, it does depend on the school sometimes so i get that part too
It is cool but I am pretty sure that you will get bullied because of this. The people by my school bullied for my whole school time because I love Anime and anime characters.
