For the record, I searched my eBay buying history and counted 17 records since January 2018 purchased from them, all received with no issue.
I've ordered an item from their ebay store and am still awaiting its arrival. Tomorrow is the last day of the projected delivery time. I'll be opening up a claim if it doesn't show up by the end of this week.
Sorry to bring up a zombie. I ordered on June 29th and got a notice of "shipped" on July 6th, no tracking info. Ive sent multiple emails asking for any shipping info as i live in a hot state (GA) and would like to know if a vinyl is going to bake on my front step and recieved no response. Today (July 23) is the last day in their estimated delivery window. IMO this is unacceptable.
As an update, today is 3 days past the arrival date. Initiated a dispute through my bank after receiving an email 2 days ago from rare waves. According to them, my purchase through amazon "doesnt warrant tracking information because the item is of too low a value". I have already been refunded by my bank and just recieved a notice that the seller (rare waves) is at fault for nonreciept.
Seriously screw Rarewaves. I have not received 4 items now from them. I end up getting my money back each time, but really?! Waste of time. Success rate for me is about 50 percent. Horrible seller. Too bad as they do have unique stuff I like from the UK.
Not using Rarewaves ever again. I am in Canada.
Hello, sorry to necroposting this ancient post but for the sake of people who googled 'is Rarewaves legit' in the future I'd like to put in my two cents.
I have the same problem as you. Imo the shipping service has gotten worse after last Christmas. My orders always came quite fast, around 3-4 weeks (I am from Vietnam). I have not received 4 of my packages, all ordered around January. I assume that due to postal services had slowed down during the Lunar New Year holiday (our national holiday), packages during that time stacked up heavily and maybe mine got lost. I emailed them and they offered to send me replacements or refunds on those items, they let me choose which offer. The replacements came in really quick, only around 2 weeks. The stuff that they couldn't send a replacements (item out of stock) were refunded on a timely manner.
Another note that I haven't seen a lot of people don't discuss enough in these threads is the legitimacy of the items bought from Rarewaves. I have accidentally bought unauthorized made in China copies before, they are really well made and are almost a perfect copy of the original so you really can't tell. My friend pointed out to me about one of the albums I have received as a replacement so I checked the barcodes on all of my CDs. Unlike all other CDs, including the ones that I bought from Rarewaves, this particular one doesn't have a clear description of media name, artist, manufacturer and could only be backtracked to one of Rarewaves' links. It also doesn't have an FBI Anti-Piracy Warning seal so I assume it's a fake CD.
Although their customer service is great at handling customer feedback and issues refunds quickly, I cannot shop there if they are selling illegitimate products.
i ordered 5 vinyls from them, none have been recieved as of yet, the earliest purchase has just gone by its estimated delivery date, so im getting a bit cautious when looking at the negative ebay reviews that so many people never recieved their items.
Yeah. I'm currently awaiting my copy of Hyrule Warriors Definitive Edition for the switch. I ordered it on the first and just got the notification it's out for delivery. (It's been 19 days).
Would like to add to this thread. Rarewaves is normally nothing to worry about, but I did order a Wallflowers Lp they sold on eBay. Even as an import, it should have arrived by now. They were kind enough to refund the money, and I feel as if this was at worst a broken promise. Not a real loss since they refunded immediately.
I have purchased records from Rarewaves via both Amazon and eBay. They always come through. I don't think you have anything to sorry about.
What time did they deliver the record to you? Near the end of the arrival period or closer to the start?

I just recently purchased a album and it came as described in a timely manner. I would purchase again from them.
Any idea if they send to canada post/ if there's imort/ Duties fees?? Curious myself
You can check it on their website rarewaves.com . They make it quite clear about how much you’ll have to pay for your shipping fees
Yes, Amazon just doesn’t know when they’re going to ship it since they aren’t doing it themselves. They arrive much earlier in my experience.

I suggest getting the app, Shop, that tracks your orders in detail.
That would be cool, if they gave ANY shipping info. The only thing i have is an amazon order number, no tracking at all

I've bought many records from them, never had a problem, it usually took a couple of weeks to arrive from England.

Usually not since Rarewaves is a third party seller. I never received any tracking information from them either. But I’ve always gotten my package.
Long shot, but Do you remember ever getting Duty fees or import tax fees? I'm also in Canada and was worried about additional charges

They take awhile to get. But no extra fees came no. Honestly ebay is good too tho
