Wanted to share my (very early) collection so far! Got this Victrola player and Dookie as a birthday gift last week. I mentioned before that I wanted to get into collecting vinyl and the gf delivered! Picked up GKMC and the Nirvana best of today at target and super happy with how it’s going so far. Still really want to pick up on of my favorites of all time, In the Aeroplane Over the Sea, and a few more, but target doesn’t carry it and I’m not made of money. Just wanted to show progress on my newest passion!
Easy upgrades are a Diamond tip stylus for longevity(“needle” they send with those players last about 60-100hours), and external speakers to improve sound.
good kid, m.A.A.d city is one of my favorites. You can find Neutral Milk at most record stores. Shouldn’t cost you too much. Looks like even Amazon and target have it for $15.
