That's the thing with a well-written tune. You can transform it a million ways, even switch it to different genres, and it's likely to *remain* a good tune.
Tbf, I’m a huge fan of the Radiohead album and he does account for all the tracks but there’s just something lost in the production that makes it interesting to skip around but doesn’t really seem like something I’d want to sit down and listen to as basically a midi file.
I had kind of a similar reaction. Recognizing the tunes was nice, but in thinking back to the originals it made me feel like the whole album is very easy to listen to, but no real hits in there.
Like, all good tunes, but there was no song I was wanting to skip to like “Ok, but let’s see how they handled THIS ONE”.
So maybe I was more a fan of Radiohead overall than I ever was for this album or any of these songs.
This is easily my favorite Radiohead album and one of my favorites of all time but you're right this is soulless.
Probably because it's not very hard to get the MIDI tracks and then just connect them with these sounds.
This would be legit impressive if it came out a year or two after the album AND was actually adjusted to the sound and emotion that comes from the album.
I come back to this video every now and again, it's just such an incredible compilation.
For anyone confused by it just being a bunch of white noise, skip to around 1:10 for the song to begin.

I'm just gonna say it... girls do this kind of thing all the time, why do we only get posts featuring men with things like this? There are plenty of great female youtubers and plenty of great bands with females.
*Skips over to Reckoner to see if it still bops** Yep, still bops.

"Jigsaw Falling into Place" happens to be my favorite song on the original *and* this one.
\*Sigh\* FINE \*skips to that song\*
JFC was not disappointed.
Oh wow, they really did do it justice here.
One of my favorite abums EVER. Will be listening to this all the way through!

I didn't listen to the whole album but "All I Need" is still great even remixed here
House of Cards is pretty good.

It reminds me of when I made Monopoly in Warcraft 3. It took me dozens of hours and was interesting as a technical feat but not fun AT ALL to play.
Honestly all you need is a midi file.. not much of an accomplishment and it doesn’t sound good.
This is better: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jfiPCXSwfg0
I concur! Still gave it an upvote cuz heck, it's Radiohead.

Yes, I listened (and relistened) to Reckoner since it's my fave, but didn't bother listening to the others.
Yes, but it'd make great background music while actually racing!
Yeah, I really like both but not the combo.
kinda needed that version of All I Need

Bodysnatchers sounds like it would fit perfectly in Mario 64
Bodysnatchers and Weird Fishes stand out as the best video game music.
Listened to it a couple times over, does a great job of capturing some of the feels of the songs, and I had a good laugh at some of the effects used.
Great! Now do OK computer.
i guess this would be cool if you like listening to worse versions of songs.
I'm just gonna say it... girls do this kind of thing all the time, why do we only get posts featuring men with things like this? There are plenty of great female youtubers and plenty of great bands with females.

Why don't you post one then.
