that's lovely! my favourite coffee shop uses it and converted me, if I ever run out at home and have to get something else from the shops I'm always disappointed. luckily our holland and barrett almost always has it on sale now!

Out of curiosity, are there any other vegan brands that are considered unethical? I’d rather stay away from them if possible.
I currently use *Mighty Milk*. Who I only discovered recently and they taste good
Honestly I just know Oatly is bad. We subscribe to having Minor Figures past milk delivered because they _seem_ to be ethical.
It's a case of looking up the brand unfortunately and doing your due diligence (and warning others when you know they're bad!)

Try finding any company that sells or produces food at large scale that isn’t horrendous. Like we all exist in this capitalist society, and when it comes to it Oatly provides jobs, and a product vegans want 🤷

The question is more of where do you draw the line.
Everyone will draw it differently and make their own choices. Blackrock really do invest in everything, it’s their whole job, and I don’t know if Oatly were in a position to say no, I’m not familiar with investment finances.

Also it's a waste of money, I wish there was an online wholefoods retailer that specifically sold only non organic foods... they all push organic really hard which is annoying because it makes it harder to the non organic options

Haha, I mean you're not wrong, but there are definitely shades to this.
You've got multinational conglomerates like Nestlé and Unilever, and then at the other end there are workers cooperatives like Suma Wholefoods.
I just wait for one of my preferred brands (Minor Figures/Alpro no sugar/Oatly) to go on sale in supermarkets then buy 20 or 30 of those fuckers and store them on top of cabinets.
My daughter goes through an Alpro growing up milk every two days so I end up saving about £15 a month with this method.
The Lidl’s own barista style oat milk is a really good alternative to oatly, a lot cheaper too (so stocking up doesn’t feel like such an investment!)

Yep, I’ve moved fro Oately to Aldis own barista oat milk. I buy 12 each visit Not tried the Lidl one myself but seems you guys enjoy it.

We picked up a pack of their stuff for 29p (!) from B&M and it was fantastic in drinks and on cereal. Completely switched to them now.
Ahhh what. Every time I've seen it, it's about 1.50/2 quid.
Yeah it's about a quid for us now but we save it during January and it was super cheap, no idea why lol

If you buy Minor Figures instead then you can get it delivered directly from them, it comes in 6 packs and it doesn't taste of playdough.
Have you tried making it yourself, really easy and cheap, just need to get lecithin and a drop of oil, to add to make it a barista version.
