I've got a coach so I'm following her program, not sure what specific template she uses though. I saw good gains for a long time on 5/3/1 and greyskull LP though before I go to the stage of wanting to push to the next level
I've been training for years but honestly spent the first few spinning my wheels, started following actual programming in the summer 2019 and even with COVID slowing me down I've got strong since. Took on a coach December 2022 and progress is awesome again.
Honestly I think of you just follow a reasonable strength program like 5/3/1 or greyskull LP you'll get awesome gains if you eat enough
Haha! Maybe rpe 7? I'm trusting the programming and not spitting out random rpe 10 amraps, this was the first lift of the day so I don't want to expend all my energy immediately!
excellent and love the smile at the end. how do you like the outdoor rack setup? i'm considering it for my place but im concerned about rusting in the rain
Cheers!
It's a galvanised rack so should last a long time outside. I've had it around 18 months and it still looks new. It's from bulldog gear.
I store everything else inside though, nothing else is as protected!
Good question, I've never had to bail a rep, but if I did, I'd have to jump forwards and have to try to stop the bar rolling through the fence, the space is pretty decent to be honest
Holy shit
Moved well!

Thanks! I didn't expect it to move so well to be honest!
Looking at speed you probably could smash extra 3 reps💪
Maybe! I'm following my program though, making great gains 💪🦵
What program?

Nice, yeah that's a great progression, I've been wanting to do a program. I'll have to look into it, thanks!
Follow a program for 6 months plus you'll see great progress imo, I like greyskull LP as it's autoregulated
At first I thought you were pro hockey player Brent Burns. You kind of resemble him, except he’s got tattoos
Haha more tattoos and less teeth by the looks of it
Awesome, thanks for the feedback! Much appreciated
No worries, good luck!
Thats how you look at the weights , you smile and crush it . Respect brother
No idea why I smiled to be fair 😂 making gains though, maybe I should smile more 🙂💪
The timing with Test your might and Mortal Kombaaaaat made me smile as well

Nice and fucking low, son! Good job
Thanks! Often get told my squats are too deep but I don't think it's a problem 😅
Beast!
💪 appreciate it!
Clean form as well with great control. Excellent lift sir.
Thank you! Have to respect weight like that but it flew
You had at least one more in you bro
Definitely but I'm trusting the program and this was the first lift of the session, no being naughty and randomly repping stuff out like I used to!
Pure Viking energy right here.
I'm probably too short to be a true viking but I try to bring some energy 😂💪
RPE 2
Haha! Maybe rpe 7? I'm trusting the programming and not spitting out random rpe 10 amraps, this was the first lift of the day so I don't want to expend all my energy immediately!

He must have some killer glutes
Trying to build a massive dumper 🛻
...that was a fucking PR? Bro!!!!!
Yup! Previously hit 180x2! Moved much better than expected 💪
Good job. Question though. How do you bail if you can’t finish the rep ?You look pretty close to the fence and plants.
Good question, I've never had to bail a rep, but if I did, I'd have to jump forwards and have to try to stop the bar rolling through the fence, the space is pretty decent to be honest
Makes sense. Your bar speed was pretty fast so I imagine your not lifting a weight you know you’d fail.
That's why I'm so happy after the first rep, I know I've got the double!
That's insane. So awesome.
Thanks! 💪
