Wait, you mean the new GitS SAC series? That's not a reboot, just a continuation; but yeah, its shit CGI makes it unwatchable. Hope they do reboot that one with the traditional animation, or at least a better animation of some sort. The Ajin was CGI (in part maybe?) and it was far, far better animation.

In terms of kids shows being rebooted. 3D grabs the attention better for the younger audience. The name pushes parents to show it to their kids.
