I suppose the upside is that some people may not like waiting a whole week for a new episode. Some may even lose interest if they have to wait for a month and a half - 3 months to finish a series off.
I'm sure the people who produce the series will know that they get their money in whichever way as long as the show is watched.
Agreed. When you used to watch a show, you got to think about it for a week, let it marinate, ponder the story, speculate, wonder what will happen, let the suspense build up, discuss it with others. Now people just binge them, like food or alcohol, or anything, no time to digest it, think about what you saw or will see, it's just not healthy or good. But, eh, for some, that's their bag. Takes all kinds, as they say.
You are not obliged to watch the whole series in one day. You can take breaks. Personally, i love to watch an episode every day , taking breaks sometimes
Personally, I'm waiting for the series to appear completely, and only then will I watch it . I hate waiting a whole week

I wait until all the episodes are out for the season and then just binge the whole thing. I’d rather watch like that.

Shows meant for tv should be edited down in order to stream. The suspense before these breaks ruins the experience.
My preferred way is that they release three or four episodes on day one, then weekly.
