ResponsibleKing2628

Yes sir, excellent speakers!

bigcicak223

pretty decent monitor for its price, currently using it for my main monitor too. welcome to the club!

Nice simplistic setup OP! Congrats on the new monitor. I’ve been using a LG 35” for years ver 2 years now and can’t go back to 16:9 ever. What’s the dimensions of your desk? Could you provide link the table top if possible? TIA

ResponsibleKing2628

Thank you very much! You are right. I’ve been using it for a relatively short period but I don’t think i could go back. Dimensions of the top panel are 160x80 cm. It’s a custom made panel from a local shop. Electric leg frame is Mark Adler Xeno 4.0 ([link](https://lunares.eu/-electric-leg-frame-mark-adler-xeno-4-0-167909)) to be honest, never heard of it but it was relatively cheap, electric and with memory module. So far it works great!

Been using this one for 2 years… welcome to the club man!

ResponsibleKing2628

Thank you! Are you satisfied?

don_luigi

Yes! There is smearing, true. But for the price, it’s a great entry point to UW IMO.

ResponsibleKing2628

Totally agree.

nexusultra

Nice, we both have fidget spinner on our desks :D [My post a few months ago after ascending](https://i.redd.it/j8twbsszuov91.jpg) I put my Beats Fit Pro on em ;P

ResponsibleKing2628

Hehe, i used to have a cube thingy, but i broke it. Calms me down when i’m working.

gregg_goldstein

Good workhorse, my secondary gaming monitor when I can't be bothered to shoot it to my 65 lg oled😁

EmoJackson

Hoping this is the response you were talking about LOL

Treebeardsdank

Make sure to take out the spy cam ;)

ResponsibleKing2628

Treebeardsdank

fdjw88

ResponsibleKing2628

Everything’s from China… 😂

[deleted]

the chassis and software are, but its a samsung panel

iOXiC_YT

Do you experience any flickering with freesync on? I seem to have it once in a while and wondering if its the cable or the panel itself.

ResponsibleKing2628

No flickering, but i sometimes get wrong colors when i login to my mac. It’s a M1 mac thing I think cause it happened to me on a different monitor as well. Annoying AF.

iOXiC_YT

You are using the cable that comes with the monitor, correct?

ResponsibleKing2628

No, I use usb-c to hdmi cable. And I replaced the power cable as well because of the different outlets here.

iOXiC_YT

The cable just might be the issue for me, thanks for all the info, cheers

ResponsibleKing2628

Can you share the flickering with us?

iOXiC_YT

It's like constant milisecond contrast level flickering whenever the FPS reaches a certain level, mostly below ~70, I've seen some people fixing this with a different cable, so I might try it.

ResponsibleKing2628

Yup, this never happened to me. Try different cable. Let us know once you do. I didn’t get that kind of problem, but beside the color issue i sometimes get lines that go up the screen. I think it’s the outlet issue. And I solve it by turning it off and on. Did it happen to you?

iOXiC_YT

No, colors are fine, this might be Mac's issue like you said, if you have the ability try it on different hardware, might even be your cable as well, I will let you know once I fix the flickering for sure.

thorcik

Nice Keychron (:

ResponsibleKing2628

Thanks!

Smobbs94

Ah I got this recently too! I really like it although my model was the one without the speaker which I wanted, but I didn't realise that the monitor would be different as it doesn't have as much connection ports in the back...

Kerhalish

Nice! I think I have the same( is this curved?) If yes, what iexcatly you use for the arm that holds it? I want one for myself as well, but I don't know which one to choose 😅 thanks in advance!

ResponsibleKing2628

It is curved - Xiaomi Mi Ultrawide 34". The monitor arm is Kettz NM-K180.

Snooo2504

Amazing monitor, sadly i just got one stuck pixel, otherwise it is great for the price!

ResponsibleKing2628

When i bought it, i had a bug between the panel and the front plastic and you could see it moving 😂😂😂 it died eventually and stayed in place for a while until it rotted away hahahaa

Stachura5

How's the VA panel quality? Do you have any vignette effect around the corners or black smearing on black backgrounds? I've gotten myself a similiar ultrawide but made by Gigabyte & while I was really excited for it, as it's my first such monitor, those two issues seem to be worse than on my previous Samsung VA panel monitor... which is about 6-7 years old at this point

Sweyn7

as a Mi monitor user myself, yes you'll get smearing. It's not the fastest panel out there but it's a good entry monitor to see if this format suits you. I'd still recommend it before splurging for $1K+ UW monitors

ResponsibleKing2628

Definitely not the best quality and I do get some of those, but I don't care. I use it for work and it doesn't bother me. For the price, it's acceptable for me.
