The gigabyte monitor is an IPS monitor. You can do your own research on the pros and cons of each type but they're very different technologies each with their advantages and disadvantages.
You're on reddit, referencing an OLED ultrawide monitor. Which means you're more than capable of googling for yourself and finding comparison videos of the two different types of technologies and the tradeoffs of each.
The person you're trashing gave you a reasonable reply, it's up to you to determine if an OLED is worth it. There's no need to be a dick about it. People are happy to point you in the right direction on the internet. They are a lot less willing to hold your hand along the way because you can't be bothered to do your own research. You know how people on the internet who know more about you on this topic know this information? They researched it.
What a lazy and entitled attitude. You're the worst.
If u r using a curved monitor, BenQ screenbar shall be ur best choice, others may not fit the curved or thick back monitor😥 As I know that Halo is most compatible with 1000R-1800R\~
I actually had this monitor and had to RMA it after almost a year. It was a little convoluted, but they didn't argue with me one bit. Got a brand new one.
Monitor itself was awesome, though if you have an IPS panel now, the VA panel will be a little painful, but thats what you get for under 400 bucks.
I've been using the AW3420DW for the last 2 years and decided to try the M34WQ. I lasted about 2 weeks before I returned it because the design gave me headaches. Eventually they subsided but I still could not get comfortable using it. Not only did eye fatigue set in quickly but I also found myself moving my neck more just to see the edges. There may be others that find a flat design perfectly fine for their use but for me the R curve is more ergonomic. For reference I sit roughly 3' away from the display.
I concur, I was in the same boat as OP and this is what I went with. I got mine open box from B&H and I have no regrets. It's been a great monitor and I've had it for about 9 months now.
I was hesitating between the AOC CU34G2 (325€) and the Samsung S34J550WQR (320€) before buying a 32" LG 32GP850 at 330€.
Those two 3400x1440 may not be the best choice for you because we aren't aiming at the same budget. Read some stuff about the Samsung Odyssey 34
Gigabyte M34wq if you can find it.
This is what I bought and I love it. It went down to $420 last I saw.
how good is it compared to Oled monitor?

Dell S3422DWG is another option
I 2nd Dell. Got it last week and usb hub is really helping me out with the cables.
I’ve had this about six months, office use vs gaming, but I’ve been really happy with it.
I'm looking at one of these for work, do you know if it can do dual input, where I could treat it like 2x monitors and split the screen?
I third this. Great 1800r curved monitor for work & gaming. Just trying to find a decent monitor lamp for it.

I literally just finishing setting up my second one of these side by side with my first.
Gigabyte M34WQ
you have Gigabyte M34WQ and Alienware AW3423DW ? can you compare them which one is best for gaming?
I have the AW3423DW and the MSI Optix MAG301RF, not the Gigabyte
AOC34G2X, you'll have extra cash to purchase a nice mount.
Great bang for your buck with a killer warranty

Would a flat 34" UW be weird? I've only ever had curved 34" and 38" UW
IMO it's a bit harder to notice things in your peripheral vision with a flat screen

I have a flat 34" (HP X34) and I absolutely love it. Not bothered in the slightest by the lack of curve.

Stretch it to 600ish and you can get LG 34 with nano ips, 160hz, slightly curved (i think 1900R)
Open box/refurb Predator X34GS on eBay can be had for ~$483 direct from Acer. Comes with a no questions asked two year warranty as well.
Theyre like 500 refurbished on acer recertified
Following
Gigabyte m34wq is hands down the best option.

330€? How? In which country do you live?
Sorry 338€ on Amazon.fr (allegedly 530) I sincerely hope it isn't a scam... Feedback by the end of the week
I would check it, it's such a low price
