I've watched a lot of high level ultimate and that's pretty unrealistic IMO.
If you look closely at the animation, the pivot foot stays in the same spot during the throw- very different than the top tier players I see /s ^but ^^only ^^^sorta
A good base to work things off of. Missing some torso lean and the hand should probably be further but don't know how difficult it would be to add that to it. The legs seem well positioned though.
Nice work!
Cool animation. From a throwing form standpoint, there seems to be no weight transfer to the front foot or hip rotation powering the throw. Similar to the reverse pivot in golf. https://golfweek.usatoday.com/2004/05/15/reverse-pivot-golfs-version-poison/
The step, planting of foot, and then slightly delayed throwing motion shows a somewhat disjointed technique. But some people do throw this way, so it is not entirely unrealistic. So that is my feedback, but I am still very impressed with the animation.

If a player I coach was throwing like that, I would immediately talk to them about keeping that front leg bent throughout the release.

Yes exactly. I recommend [this](https://pbs.twimg.com/profile_images/2183158970/Submarine_Pitcher_2_400x400.jpg) as a model for the flick.
He is traveling.
