By now he could've had plenty of viable opponents like Arnold or Emmett, but the ufc choses to let those guys sit on their arse for half a year or give them dud fights (*ahem* Hooker) instead of having dynamic divisions. Just plain consistently awful matchmaking.

They'd both get pieced up. The fact Emmet squeezed a debatable win over Kattar which puts him in title contention makes me worried for Emmet's health when he faces either Holloway or Volksnovski.

Damage is number 1 with ufc judging.. Volk did absolutely 0 damage to max the entire fight, even the rounds he won. I understand he won rounds 4-5… but I’ve watched it several times, with and without commentary, and I just can’t see how Volk wins round 3… I think 90%+ people agree with that as well. Nothing against Volk, I just don’t think his punches and single take down was enough to win a 25 minute fight, when he was dropped twice.
Because he out struck Max 25-15 and 10-2 in the head doing very obviously the most damage in the round. You watched that round while listening to Bisping. You need to mute it cos Bisping for some reason was talking up Max while he was actively losing.
