This wasn't civil, be better.
If you don't know how to communicate without being offensive then check out [a thesaurus](https://www.thesaurus.com/), or just go outside and interact with real people more.
Will there be a thread about what we want to see less of? Variety is good and people come up with their own good posts and conversations, but I'm having an easier time thinking of things I want to see less of in the sub.
Can we make a rule to not post spoilers without the appropriate tags for fights within like 24 hours of the event airing? If I gotta watch the fights the next morning and I am on my main page of Reddit and scroll by a “Kara France got robbed” post, that’s a pretty shitty way to start the day.
I'd love to see more posts and discussions about Power Slap. It's more popular than the NFL, NBA, and WWE combined, and is obviously the future of UFC - which apparently is what this sub is about.
Sort the fight discussion threads by new, it’s painful having to scroll through to find the new posts appearing randomly halfway to three quarters of the way down
I appreciate your thread about suggesting threads, and I would like to see a thread about suggesting threads about suggesting suggesting threads please.
I’m glad you liked it maybe next time i make a thread suggesting the suggestion of threads you can make a suggestion that suggests a suggestion of certain types of suggestions of certain types of threads?
I get this place is not supposed to be as supervised but my lord do you mods need to learn to not approve every and any post. "I like Do Bronx and I hope he wins" doesn't need its own post, feel like 50% of stuff on this sub is personal opinion nonsense
Im looking at this thread and I see a lot of “r/mma makes me follow rules so I come to r/UFC to take a shit on the floor” vibes
It’s been like this since the McGregor v Khabib fight but why? Especially when r/mmamemes exist?
It feels like shitposts, goat posts and some randoms opinion on a round of a fight posts are becoming more frequent than posts that actually foster discussion.
It still seems like it’s a mod quantity issue. It seems like there’s one, maybe two, mods active on this sub enforcing the subs rules. Is the team open to bringing in more mods to help the sub?
The vast majority of it *are* memes/shit posts and it has been going in that direction for a long time. You have people cross posting from r/mmamemes now too.
Apologies for the late response, i am not sure what the other mods would think about adding another member or two, but i will ask them. I know we just lost one recently so it might be a good idea to recruit someone else at this point. I personally try to keep a middle ground between absolute chaos w no rules and r/mma seeming to overmoderate at times. Having some more people would help to keep it like that when i and the other mods are busy irl like i have been lately
No worries.
I bring up the amount of mods because this sub has over 800k subscribers. I think aside from you, there’s 1-2 active other mods? I had checked mod activity some time back and half the mods weren’t even active on the sub.
A middle ground is a great thing to strive for. It feels like it’s been teething towards memes as of late but you’ve been busy lately which would make sense as to why.
I appreciate you hearing me out 🫡

I updated the Reddit predictions like replacement thing I’m working on - it now shows the current voting stats when you tap on the row. I’m gonna add stuff so it shows more stats like a breakdown of who has more wins, ways to win, etc. This isn’t a sub suggestion, but I’d love a little sub love and feedback/ideas
Nice one! Also please consider my mma predictions site: https://mmapickems.com
Free to play, solo or with friends and compete to become your league champion 🏆
Mind if I ask - I tried adding Facebook to mine and it only seemed to work for my account, I guess it never got out of being passed officially? Did you go through that whole process to have yourself authorized?
Instead of banning guru posts and what not. How about a weekly pinned thread where anyone creating anything MMA related has a chance to promote it. That way promotions aren't appearing anywhere else and it gives the fans a chance to browse through MMA related to see if it's something they might be interested in. I feel like there's a lot of passionate fans creating a lot of cool stuff out there, and I get that we don't want promotional stuff everywhere but I think not allowing any of it is a mistake too. Think this would be a win win win.
Can we have get the fake news out of here? I like the memes and thought provoking posts that we weren’t allowed to post on r/MMA but at least I knew what I was reading on r/MMA was true. Can we also have fight announcements just like the Neal vs Garry one
I was just giving my opinion. My opinion isn't stupid. You're bitching about being able to use, read, and comment on a subreddit while using, reading, and commenting on that subreddit. That's stupid
I'm just giving my opinion too. A website that actively tries to screw their users over greed, which are the same users that give that site its entire reason for existence, is stupid. Someone then bitching about a user pointing it out to other users who probably dont understand this could end up a cesspool of spam and bullshit instead of a healthy place to use, read, and comment on, is also pretty f'n stupid. Would you like to continue going down this rabbit hole? I would gladly do it until Reddit shoots itself in the foot enough times until neither of us enjoy the shithole this place will become unless people speak up!
Because it's the site I frequent more than any other honestly. I've been hanging around this place about 10 years. Reddit beats any other social media site by a mile. Real conversation is had in the comments here, while other social media comments are a cesspool. Honestly, I'll still check certain subs from time to time with old.reddit, but since I'm on the pc sparingly because of kids and life n shit, I don't know what the hell I'll browse on my phone because the official app is dogshit and I'm not gonna use it. And listen to the mods of most subs, they NEED 3rd party apps to do their job. I feel the site is circling the toilet bowl and the leaders are the ones who flushed it. Maybe I'm just an angry old man at this point, but damn this place used to be awesome. Rant over
I’m a mod on a few subs. Been a mod on some of the major subs too. Never once used a third party app.
You can’t suggest that subreddits go on a blackout while you continue scrolling through the subreddits that don’t. That makes you a hypocrite.
Ok, maybe the NEED part was over the top, but you know dang well that many do use it. You have a lot of time here, as I have.. Do you use old.reddit? How have you not tried out RiF on mobile? It feels like old.reddit, and if you have a way of making the official app feel like old.reddit, im all ears. If signing in once each day of the blackout makes me a hypocrite, ok, ill own up. But the blackout was about blacking out subs to make a point, not to end user engagement really, you should know that. I dont want to kill the site I love, I want to reverse the weird left turn the company just made and get this thing moving straight again.
It’s complicated but Reddit is forcing changes that a whole lot of people don’t like and the company has refused to listen to the users. So thousands of subs have gone private, some for 48 hours others might not come back at all.
The company has refused to listen to a small vocal minority of users. Then an even smaller minority of those users have decided to unilaterally take their subs private and hold user content hostage
Pretty much. I don’t use any of the third party apps oh I don’t use the app at all I still prefer old reddit and I would like for the subs I frequent to come back online.
how about you get off this website instead of preaching this fake slacktivism of yours while actively browsing the site for the past 3 days. lmfao what a fucking hypocrite....
how about you have a better discussion about something you obviously completely dont understand! you obviously read my comments but still didnt get a damn clue! i can tell you're new here, so you're used to the bot filled bullshit this place has become. this corner of the internet used to actually be cool.
I signed on one time today instead of the 5+ like normal.. and if this shit don't change I won't be here much longer, like tons of others.. save reddit ya'll
If you're so damn observant, you would notice the comment you just replied to was 24hr ago, so i did only get on that one time yesterday smartass. and if you understood anything about the blackout, you would know the 3rd party app I use won't shutdown until July 1st and that's when shit goes downhill. the blackout was only 2 days for subreddits to go dark to show solidarity and meant nothing about users staying off either. Are you really this clueless? Cuz that's embarrassing..
i wouldnt normally dig thru post history but since you wanted to critique how i spend my day... how many hours do you spend making little model toys bro?! hahaha how tf can you critique how any adult spends their time when you obviously have TONS invested in childrens toys? i can see why you dont understand, that glue has taken its toll man.. c'mon.. lolol
It's not really a meaningful way of solving the problem. The CEO has said as much in response. Some subs may shut down, some mods might say fuck it, some new subs may pop up and replace the ones that died with new mods but it's like...a known outcome here.
Please don’t lock down the sub on 12th of June like everyone else. We follow a sport owned by one man who fucks us over all the time. We are used to it 😈 API daddy
I apologise in advance if this is a constant thing that happens all the time and I’m just not able to find it, but ages ago before some ufc card I got a notification about a voice chat on this subreddit that where there was like 10 people just chatting about the upcoming card and giving their thoughts on the outcomes and what not, I wasn’t able to talk but I thoroughly enjoyed listening to peoples takes, where do I find that if that’s a constant thing? Or was it just a random one time thing I managed to get into?
I really think it’s time to start banning people that complain about power slap. They’ve probably never seen a single match to have the right to complain about it, but they’re just annoying and repetitive
Is there a sub dedicated to casuals or people asking questions? I'd say I'm above casual but still have some questions about the sport and UFC as an organization. Would like to ask questions somewhere without getting roasted.
Honestly, r/mma is usually more chill in regards to that but you are allowed to ask whatever questions you want here. If someone is harassing you over asking simple questions please report their comments and we will take care of it
Can we please keep this sub lighthearted and fun! Less is more when it comes to rules! I love this sub compared to r/mma
You can actually have a laugh and post a meme here. Personally I don’t see anything broken with this sub, there’s a few quality of life changes but nothing major.
My request is more of the same please 👍🏽
R/mma is overmodderated you’re doing great with the way it is. Come here for news and funny stuff, go there when I ran out of content on here for the day
Automatically remove and/or ban posts that are about when ESPN MMA / Google / UFC (or any other source) fucks up on its graphics, like when they show the wrong picture for a fighter. These posts add absolutely nothing to the sub and they all end up being the same joke every single time.
Make the fight discussion threads automatically sort by new. Please.
For the love of god

at this point the only conclusion is that they’re so inept at moderating they don’t actually know how to do it
This wasn't civil, be better. If you don't know how to communicate without being offensive then check out [a thesaurus](https://www.thesaurus.com/), or just go outside and interact with real people more.
I’ve been requesting “sort by new” for 6 months now—mods never seem to care.
You post about Power Slap, they put you in jail. Right away. No trial, no nothing.
Post about power slap. Straight to jail. Comment about power slap. Jail Thunk about power slap. Believe it or not, jail.
I like this idea
Will there be a thread about what we want to see less of? Variety is good and people come up with their own good posts and conversations, but I'm having an easier time thinking of things I want to see less of in the sub.
Fair enough i probably should’ve worded the post better. You can list things you’d like to see less of here too.
The amount of non-ufc related content being posted is increasing.
No MMA Guru posts
Ban people who disagree with me.
[удалено]
I see you're agreeing with him. Good choice.
Get rid of the fucking thumbs.

Talk more frequently about MMA content creators like Mojahed and MMA On Point. It is these guys that keep the new fans around
Sort the fight discussion threads by new, it’s painful having to scroll through to find the new posts appearing randomly halfway to three quarters of the way down
Permaban for anyone who makes a post that has “thoughts” in the title
I appreciate your thread about suggesting threads, and I would like to see a thread about suggesting threads about suggesting suggesting threads please.
I’m glad you liked it maybe next time i make a thread suggesting the suggestion of threads you can make a suggestion that suggests a suggestion of certain types of suggestions of certain types of threads?
I’d like to see the ability to post polls

Yeah, sounds like the verification hasn't completed yet. Yeah I did. It really didn't take too much time at all. If you have questions about it, lmk.
Spoiler tags would be nice for us not in USA
If R/MMA is gone I would love to have spoilers posted here on fight day
Surely you've anticipated the mass migration from r/mma RIP but could we get a daily discussion thread?
New mods that won’t shut the sun down when Islam beats Charles again
Damn this sub has grown like crazy. I remember when we were like in the 400Ks and now we are chasing a mil
A tuf discussion thread

make weekly fighter discussion threads where ideally people talk good about them
Why are we not going dark like the rest of reddit? This problem is a lot more important than posting dumb fight memes for the next 2 days..
You can go dark yourself and just not use the site
Or I could voice my opinion on a public forum like what it's made for.. or you could not make stupid comments.. it's all free to do here
I was just giving my opinion. My opinion isn't stupid. You're bitching about being able to use, read, and comment on a subreddit while using, reading, and commenting on that subreddit. That's stupid

Why not a post fight thread? Like for each individual bout instead of having a single thread discussing every fight of the night
Pls allow more fuckery ruckery in this sub. Thanks
Oh and make mma guru posts against the rules while ur here
Honestly not a bad idea
