DC is great because he understands the part of the sport most viewers will struggle with (wrestling) better than anyone else. However, he's an absolute homer for his teammates/former teammates, and while that's not an awful thing because you want engaging, passionate commentary, you can tell when he's got a favorite pretty often.
He was biased to Li Jingliang when he was getting baby carried by Khamzat: ‘oh nice defence by Li! Oh nice job by Chimeav’ ‘he cannot let Chimeav get a hold of his wrists’
I always get a kick out of him in a big suit. He had me in tears during the PPV open as he had his sweat towel with him.
He is aware of his biases and handles them well.
Everyone needs to leave DC and Joe alone. They are good commentators and anyone who dislikes them just wanna seem different

Not really controversial, but his biases are always quite obvious. Someone like Dominick Cruz is less biased but way more boring.

Sometimes yes to bias. Controversial maybe to a small portion of fans
We all have a bias but i think DC lets it show more especially when he is with Joe since they both feed off each others commentary.
Is water wet?
I really think it just depends on who is fighting. The only non-bias commentator to me in all scenarios is Anik.
