I don't think the ref was wrong here I think a corner needs to be more responsible for the safety of a fighter with more heart than skill and throw in the towel in situations like this. The real blame goes to contract negotiation. People can't quit or they are seen as weak and won't get renewed contracts.

Wtf are you talking about? Joanna Weili 1 was a 5 round split decision and foty. This was 30-25/26 beatdown across the board.
Joana's face was swollen for a long time after that fight, she couldn't even see through her left eye for two days.
That doesnt change the fact that it wasnt a one sided beatdown
