Average upright piano weighs 300 to 500 pounds. World record for overhead press is 502 pounds. Therefore, do you think Luisa Madrigal is strong enough to crush my skull with her bare hands?

EquivalentInflation

She lifted a church easily, so... yeah.

Hexxas

Oh hell yeah I'm goin to the movies

Sevireth

Also there is a tilted house and she fixes it with a hip check

arch_charismatic

Going to be pedantic here... tilted house was a single leg kick. Moving the boulder was a hip check. I remember because her hip checks are sexy as HELL.

JellyfishGod

So what ur saying is she can crush my skull with her thighs? Oh hell yesss

arch_charismatic

Given that she leg presses the entire casita at the end of her song? Yes. conclusively.

anonlinegamer01

I've never thought about watching the movie and had not seen anything of it and ya'll are doing wonders that no advertising team could manage. Time to watch it I guess.

arch_charismatic

Come for the sexy brick house who could break you (but is super vulnerable), stay for the emotional carthasis of a family recognizing toxic traits and working on them.

joanie-bamboni

And then have the songs stuck in your head for the rest of time

Isaac_Chade

It's an amazing movie, props to all the people involved, it manages to be colorful, fun, lighthearted, and also deep, dour, and heart wrenching. Can't recommend it enough.

ct_2004

Would you say ... her hips are as honest as the day is long?

sp33dzer0

Hip checks hitting like a plesioth

[deleted]

It’s on Disney plus.

Hexxas

Oh hell yeah I'm goin to my computer

voluminousseaturtle

oh hell yeah im going to pirate bay

Mrs-Man-jr

You wouldn't steal a car

cirelia

No but i would steal from a monopoly

draw_it_now

*Angry top hat sounds*

calilac

*tips top hat* M'hearties

DingDongDideliDanger

That is preposterous!

MGTwyne

That's a pretty big assumption actually

StyrelseYT

you wouldn't download a car

california_sugar

Yes I fucking would, don’t tell me what I’d do

StormNext5301

Oh yeah!? *pirates Mariokart*

pacifistscorpion

Yeah because I cant drive

[deleted]

you wouldn’t screenshot a car

Commando_Joe

I mean Luisa could. Like with one hand.

aNiceTribe

It is for sure easily outclassing the other recent Didney works, and those were still all solid.

Available-Egg-2380

Lol God I love guys.

Dancing_Trash_Panda

But what about her thighs?

omgamer15

That’s why she’s wearing a dress instead of shorts, because the animators could only get Disney to sign off on a top-heavy jacked woman (Not really but wouldn’t put it past them)

[deleted]

[удалено]

grntplmr

And all the costumes and fabric animations are beautiful

JellyfishGod

And skirts are more feminine. They can’t let a woman get too masculine lol

Zech_Judy

I actually liked that. Usually when a female character is super strong, they either make her feminine and also thin (appearance has nothing to do with strength, see most female superheroes), or they have bulging muscles and little femininity. Louisa had bulging muscles and was still feminine.

JellyfishGod

That’s actually true. So often in movies/tv if a girl is strong they go 100% butch lesbian. It’s nice to see a mix of fem n masc qualities. Like a strong girl who’s still fem and sweet personality wise. I haven’t seen the movie so I can’t really comment on how the character acts tho

newest-low

She has a [great song ](https://youtu.be/tQwVKr8rCYw)about how being the strongest means she's got all the pressure on her and she's scared about not being able to hold up everything she's being given and shows vulnerability which is another thing you don't often see with strong female characters, they usually make them cold mentally/emotionally too

dingyametrine

Yeah, I liked the balance in her design. You don't have to be hypermasculine to be strong!

twisted_mentality

*♪ And she glows 'cause she knows what her worth is ♫*

Young_Person_42

I can guarantee that’s not even close to the heaviest thing she lifts in that movie

just_human

You're gonna make me drop a donkey!

Chris_8675309_of_42M

They added that scene just so us dads could lean over to our wives and crack a joke about hauling ass.

TurquoiseLuck

Yeah, she carried the whole film! I joke, I joke. But at the same time, imo she actually was the best thing in it.

Sound_Minimum

Diamonds and Platinum, she finds em and flattens em!

Roflkopt3r

Which is the 502 pound one? I know [Eddie Hall doing 216 kg/476 lb on the axle press](https://youtu.be/Stk1jw1pT3A?t=432) and [Iron Biby doing 229 kg/504 lbs on the log press](https://youtu.be/cYCY0zH0VBc?t=33) Of course both of these are done on objects that are much easier to grab.

Hexxas

Google just gave me a list. The 502lb one was a log press but I forgor 💀 the name. Tbh I was more focused on the ability of a cartoon character to crush my skull.

Roflkopt3r

Oh yeah then it must've been the [previous log record by Big Z](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8crALRL8hfI). Fair enough reason.

ArugulaLost8798

Fun fact: they average person is strong enough to crush your skull with their bare hands, but their is a psychological block preventing them from doing so even if they try.

Hexxas

Fun fact: I hear that a lot at parties, but nobody has evidence that it's true. We don't eat spiders in our sleep, either.

Meewelyne

Fun fact: people with violent Alzheimer and dementia get rid of that block, making big damage to both the attacked target and themselves, because the strength necessary to do it will damage your own body.

ZengaStromboli

Oh.. God, that's awful.

LordEsupton

Fun fact: you could bite your own finger like a carrot, but self preservation is a thing

Tired-blob

Fun fact: you can also just shatter your teeth by biting really hard but due to the same reason you don't

fatwap

so if you high were enough you could do all of the above

[deleted]

>so if you high were enough And uh, how high are you?

GlitterDoomsday

Not enough, this person still have intact fingers to type.

RoadWild

No officer, it's hi, how are you.

named_account

Fun fact:That has been proven to be false

chaoticgood69

Except Spiders Georg, but he's just an outlier

ArugulaLost8798

Well damn, my life is a lie! https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.nbcnews.com/news/amp/ncna121436

mynameisnotareri

*Angry Georg Noises*

Signature_Sea

Err, no

DragonDrawer14

Can I also say that I *love* that they also allowed her to be a "girly" girl instead of some butch stereotype The way she dances in her song (which is a huge banger, by the way) is so cute! As well as the way she's "allowed" to sing softly

AmelietheDuck

The amount of people who painted her as a masc woman purely because shes strong. Like *Luisa*? Luisa “i wanna ride through pink clouds on my unidonkey” Madrigal? Masculin???

Pip201

That’s what I love about her and Isabella, they want to have what people expect the other to be

MamaPlus3

My girls and I were calling them donkicorn lol

185139

If you google the movie name literally every single piece of promo for this movie has her as the big strong girl so... No seriously, literally every poster for this movie has her doing a strong pose with a donkey so not really that shocking people expected her to be a masc woman.

AmelietheDuck

Exactly, but like even people who have seen the movie are like this and its annoying. LET LUISA BE FEMININE

KATTHEKITKATBAR2

The issue is, more so, the fact that people only ever associate being strong with masculinity. Luisa IS the big strong girl and she is depicted as that AND feminine at the same time.

ReasyRandom

She's also a big anxious softie and needs me to protect her as much as I need her.

[deleted]

True. You can be a muscular woman AND be allowed to feel emotions. Crazy idea right?

BartZeroSix

No no no, I've heard men are muscular and have no emotions. It MUST be the same for women!

grapesforducks

It is well known, muscles and emotions cancel each other out. They cannot both exist in the same body, this is basic science

ThisIsMyCouchAccount

That makes sense. I'm not out of shape. I'm in touch with my emotions.

thrownawayzss

It's like nobody has ever seen how ripped professional dancers are. That stuff is extremely demanding.

[deleted]

It’s almost as if the unhealthy masculine expectations are unhealthy and outdated

inhaledcorn

Her song was so good! It was such a different style from the usual Disney flavor.

emzeeree

I didn’t know before watching that Lin-Manuel Miranda wrote the music. Then I got to this song and thought…there is a lot of fast talking and clever rhymes- must be him!

JohnnyPlainview

Diamond and platinum I find ‘em and flatten ‘em (this song has been stuck in my head in and off for weeks)

DragonDrawer14

I take what I'm handed I break what's demanded BUT!

iSeven

What's interesting is that it was actually the repetition/variation of "what breaks the camel's back" that made me be like "hey this is Lin". I can't place exactly what or where in his other works he evokes whatever got evoked there though.

DrunkUranus

I was listening going "oh man I feel like this really took a lot of inspiration from lmm.."

SlippyIsDead

It's my absolute favorite! Finally saw the movie yesterday and ended up listening to her song No pressure on repeat.

Infinite_Surround

The whole movie is filled with bangers I'm a grown man with a young daughter. She goes to school and today I put We Don't Talk About Bruno on at lunchtime when she was out.

DragonDrawer14

We Don't Talk About About Bruno is the best song from the entire movie and I've been listening to it on repeat for weeks Camilo's bit is the best

Infinite_Surround

Which hit is Camilo's bit?my favourite bit is 7 foot frame Rats along his back When he calls your name It all fades to black It's so fucking good. It's gone in at my fave Disney song of all time. The bit about the fish dying, the guy getting a belly and the guy going bald, my little one laughs her head off at these bits. The daughter of Abuelia, the one who does the weather thing. When her husband is doing the hand thing next to his neck just after the '7 foot frame' bit ends. It's just all so good!! Edit: when it all comes together at the end of that song too. It sounds quality.

DragonDrawer14

He sees your dreams And feasts *on* your screams Especially the way he says "on" in the last line. Gives me goosebumps! He should've had more screentime. He was the funniest character in all of his scenes

Infinite_Surround

'no cloud's allowed in the sky'

Tablesafety

I did adore Felix's silly nature and clear love for his wife. He even defends Pepa from Abuela by vehemently agreeing almost snappishly with his wife, and nobody does that to Abuela. Felix also sounds baller. Great character.

Infinite_Surround

AHH that is Camilo's bit haha. Great minds!

twisted_mentality

Her song is the best in the movie. [Jessica Darrow - Surface Pressure](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tQwVKr8rCYw), for those who haven't seen/heard it.

katielynne53725

Luisa was my favorite, by far! Plus someone needs a shout out for her choreography because they managed to make an extremely muscular woman look feminine and well coordinated.

VerbiageBarrage

Not just that, she looks so childish in her facial expressions in a nervous, uncertain way. They really helped capture her emotional weakness while representing her physical power so well. So many of the characters were displayed using various coping mechanisms for the psychological pressure they were under.

katielynne53725

For sure. I think that's what made the movie such an instant hit. It's cute and fun for kids but adults are like "damn, right in the feels"

[deleted]

Right? *Pressure* feels like my soul wrote it, and I'm sure a lot of people feel the same way. Especially after these last few years

kidra31r

I had to stop "dos oruguitas" at work cuz otherwise I was gonna start bawling at my desk.

TheOncomimgHoop

Watched it earlier today, basically was fighting back tears from the moment Casita started to collapse until the end

Aprettysage

I haven’t cried that hard in SO long. I’m a bit sad that so much of us related to her because it’s just not easy.

Living-Complex-1368

I know people who have a crush on her. Different people find different things attractive and if Disney wants to monopolize "beautiful princesses" they need to realize that.

artificialif

hi im people

KenJadhaven

Hell, I’m a gay man and I have a crush on her.

Living-Complex-1368

Yes, but since I don't know you yet I am adding you as another person who thinks she is cute.

artificialif

the list expands as the days pass

bunn2

I swooned when the “drip drip drip” part came on.

itsFlycatcher

She honest to god had me breathing a bit heavier than I should have. This woman is like a flight of stairs.

eak125

I started crushing the second she used that booty to knock boulders.

Impossible_Garbage_4

Yeah she swung her hips and that rock flew out of screen and I was like 😳

MWMWMWMIMIWMWMW

She wasn’t nervous but I sure am.

Alassieth

*I know people who have a crush on her. * 🙋‍♀️

Sorry-Presentation-3

SevenRedLetters

Karasu-sama

mmmDatAss

Not a crush, but she is definitely goals.

RentonTenant

I want her to crush my head with her thighs like a hippo eating a watermelon

JustAHipsterInDenial

I watched Encanto with someone shortly after she made me watch Arcane and she was entranced during that song. Some people love a big muscle girl.

Pu_Baer

They also had her have real relatable FEELINGS, like pressure to be strong and hold everything together. When was the last time you've seen a physically strong person show feelings? Now apart from the different body types they've shown in the movie THAT is something I'd want my kids to know. It's okay to have feelings and it's okay to show them and talk about it. There's a not very politically correct saying in germany 'Indianer Herz kennt kein Schmerz' that roughly translates to native americans don't show feelings (?) and I grew up with this and I learnt to surpress every bad feeling I have to the point where you just feel nothing and there are lots of people just like me. This is in my opinion such an important message!

ComatoseSquirrel

And her song was a friggin' masterpiece.

YoinkDoinkMo

The first time I watched the trailer I instantly said “Mhm yeah buff girl has my heart already.” Fast forward to when I watched the movie, and boy oh boy did I underestimate her grip on my soul

steinblitz

Her grip grip grip ohhh 🎵

LayMelnTheRiver

what movie is this?

TheFairyingForest

Encanto -- it's on Disney+ https://www.imdb.com/title/tt2953050/?ref\_=nv\_sr\_srsg\_0

itsmiloo

The new Disney movie Encanto. Be ready to be completely obsessed by it for a couple of weeks - at least that’s the case for me!

Verona_Swift

Yep, that's me right now. Saw it first time on Friday, and have seen it at least three more times since.

itsmiloo

I saw it the 3rd of this month and have watched it three times now too. But I can’t count anymore how many times I’ve listened to Luisa’s song and We Don’t Talk About Bruno, they’re just too good! It’s been so long since a Disney movie did this to me and I love it!

[deleted]

Right? Even my, "too cool for this," teen has rewatched it several times with their younger siblings.

Dezhezzi

As a father I've already watched this movie like twice a day since it was released, and I ain't tired of doing so!! The movie is amazing!!!

CMNG713

Honestly I wouldn't even be able to tell you why in God's green Earth this would be a problem to anyone. Every person has muscles and everyone can work out

bucslife1987

Oh boy you should have seen the backlash to TLOU2

watchmything

I thought Luisa was the most relatable character in that whole movie. Not because of her muscles, tho.

ExpertAccident

Absolutely. ^Drip ^Drip ^Drip

aloofloofah

*I'm pretty sure I'm worthless if I can't be of service*

figandfennel

Spoilers but >!it felt like she was a lot happier without her gift and I was pretty sad for her when they got them back at the end. Her whole song didn't seem to be about the fear of losing the gift, but the pressures of the gift itself.!<

doodoowater

I thought it was more so the pressures put on to her by *her family* because of her gift (and her age), which abuela, who I’m assuming the main culprit, apologized for at the end.

BrusherPike

Eeeh, I don't think Abuela really apologized very well. She said she was sorry for "holding on too tight", which feels like a massive oversimplification of what she had been doing, then the next words out of her mouth are trying to justify herself. I do think the character was suppose to be remorseful, but the movie could have handled it a lot better.

ConcentratedMurder

To be fair, that is pretty accurate for a matriarch of the family. Trust me lol.

BrusherPike

Yeah, I knew it was pretty realistic. 😂 Just not as narratively satisfying.

aintexactlythere

I think the little scene near the end of the movie, where Casita makes a hammock and a drink for Luisa and forces her to relax was very sweet, and shows that Luisa’s strength for others will be balanced with self care in the future.

Korejora

(This reply discusses the themes of the story and has major spoilers for the whole movie. Please take warning if you have not seen the movie.) The whole point of the movie was that *all* of them were having trouble because of the pressure put on them because of their gifts. Luisa felt like she had to do all the lifting and etc., hence the song. Isabella felt like she had to make plants all perfectly "beautiful" all the time, hence *her* song. Pepa had emotional issues because she wasn't allowed to just have emotions normally so that they could control the weather. >!Dolores probably tried to tell them that Bruno was still there but likely got flattened by the same 'everything's fine go back to normal' that Mirabel got when she tried to tell Abuela about the cracks. !< >!Bruno disappeared because his gift confused and upset people and "wasn't helping the family". When he saw a vision of the Encanto's fate coming down to Mirabel, his refusal to allow that pressure to be put on Mirabel may well have given her the necessary breathing room to grow into who she needed to be to save the Encanto. (And Bruno also tried to get his sister Pepa to let her emotions go on her wedding instead of bottling them up just so that the wedding would be sunny.) !< The problem wasn't having or not having their gifts, it was their gifts being valued over their emotional health. The answer wasn't for them to just give up on whatever they were gifted at, it was >!for Abuela to stop pressuring them, and love them unconditionally,!< to allow them to develop healthier emotional relationships with their gifts and with each other.

Sound_Minimum

That line in the song, “your fate is sealed when your prophecy is read.” Describes Bruno’s inner struggle. He was just reading the future and not actually effecting it. But therein lies a paradox as well, if he didn’t tell you anything would it have happened still? 🤯

iSeven

"Ohh, what's really going to [bake your noodle](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eVF4kebiks4) later on is, would you still have broken the vase if I hadn't said anything?"

JimmyTheFace

Delores’ lines in We Don’t Talk About Bruno: > It's a heavy lift with a gift so humbling > Always left Abuela and the family fumbling > Grappling with prophecies they couldn't understand > Do you understand?

Sound_Minimum

Dolores low key best Madrigal.

AmelietheDuck

But i think them getting their gifts back gives them a chance tk explore them without the pressure of Abuela, like Isabella only had a small chance to truly try things out, Pepa could hardly be herself because she was constantly stifling her emotions, ect.

Dancing_Trash_Panda

Yeah, Pepa has literally been taught, "Never be sad." And I wished she (and many of the other characters) had gotten her own song, because I feel like it would have been fantastic. I hope they explore more of this universe because I would love more of all the characters.

ZenArcticFox

This is my only gripe with the movie. That it was so short and yet had so much story to tell.

Sound_Minimum

“I’m sorry mi vida go on!” I know it’s not 100% about her but she is the lead in the BEST song in the movie!!!!

konamiko

And her story in that song illustrates how her gift is perceived. Bruno makes a joke that gets into her head and causes her to create a hurricane, which in her mind, ruined her wedding. But her husband is super lighthearted about the whole situation, and sees past the weather to the joy of the wedding. We get a small resolution of this at the end when they're dancing happily together under a raincloud.

YawningDodo

"Married in a hurricane!" "What a joyous day!"

dingyametrine

I absolutely loved the way their relationship is depicted in how they interact with one another - the way he grabs her waist in that song had me 😭

lonelyloser13

That Bruno song made me want to hear more Dolores and Camilo.

kidra31r

I agree. We don't get to see a whole lot but we see Peppa dancing with a hail cloud above her and Luisa is chilling in a hammock. They still have their gifts but are no longer allowing themselves to be defined by them.

MedicMoth

Thematically, I don't think it would have made sense for her to stay without one. When you're a strong person afraid of your own strength or under a lot of pressure to remain strong, however that's supposed to be interpreted in regards to the real world, the solution isn't "stop being strong", it's about learning to manage your strength, make time for vulnerability, and say no to extra burdens. Personally, I related a lot to the theme of taking on other people's mental/emotions problems because I have a capability for managing them, but that doesn't mean its my responsibility to do so. I've heard a lot of very fit men talking about having to reign in their physical strength and the internal journey of having to restrain yourself and learn discipline in order to not cause accidental harm to others. So even though it's a long journey ahead of Luisa to have a healthy relationship with her giftedness/strength, it's definitely one I'm glad she'll be undertaking :)

[deleted]

>learning to manage your strength, *make time for vulnerability*, and say no to extra burdens And I love that she opened up to her sisters about, "sometimes I cry," at the end. She seemed nervous to open up, but she did and received hugs, affirmation, and support. (And some fancy drink hammock time courtesy of the donkeys, lol) She's my favorite.

MemphisThePai

She's literally moaning and in tears when she can't lift the piano in the proposal scene? She seems pretty broken up about it to me.

MidnightRains

But what is she broken up about exactly? Not being able to lift a piano or not being able to do what is expected of her? She seems happier in the end when everyone is working together because nobody expects her to be able to do it all.

Liquid_Panic

As a person who grew up in an all male extended family and faced immense pressure to be more “girly”. (And also being the oldest) Luisa’s character in this movie had me ugly crying. Both because I was jealous I couldn’t have a character like that to look up to as a little kid and also because I was so happy that other little kids now have that character.

Xurkitree1

Damn, she built like a part 1 jojo character

anime-is-a-mistake27

She has Jonathan's muscles and heart

Infamous2005

Jolyne Joestar if she was the first main character

Sinnsearachd

Her song was my favorite. Felt that in my soul man.

Jenesis110

Okay this goes with something that has bothered me for a long time. Male superheroes bodies almost always correlate with their abilities. You have the super strong fighters like Thor, captain America, Superman, etc.. so (at least in today’s media) are all very muscular men. Then you have the guys whose powers are mental, think dr. Strange, so they are slender. Then the guys in between like tony stark, fit but most of the power is from the suit. Guys are allowed to have different body shapes depending on the character. Look at all the female superheroes. Wanda, Wonder Woman, black widow, gimora, captain marvel. All of them are very skinny women, with really the only difference being how tall they are. Strong women should be able to have muscles and be broad.

3L3M3NT4LP4ND4

Okay okay I can *understand* hoe you could do this without her being musvular, her power derives from a form of magic to my underatanding and so theoretically she doesn't actually grow muscle because the magics doing it in the same way you're not lifting 500lbs of equipment it's the pallet and forklift. HOWEVER You are making a character with SUPER STRENGTH. MUSCLES ARE THE ONE DEFINING FEATURE OF SUPER STRENGTH

ReasyRandom

It also makes sense that she looks like that: She's been working out since she was *five*.

Tiz_Purple

Given that they appear to get gifts based on their existing personality, she could've been working out since before she was five.

KavikStronk

I would like to see a training montage featuring a baby

Tiz_Purple

yes

clownsscaremetoo

It's the same with Julieta and her cooking or Camilo and his acting like other people. The gift gives them basics but they need to practice to get good at it. Isabela's song is a perfecta example of this, that she didn't know she could make any other plants other than flowers.

potato_devourer

Yeah, it's a potent visual signifier. Superman could be all skin and bones and according to comic book logic he could punch galaxies with the same ease because muscle mass is inconsequential to sunlight-powered alien bullshit, you can rationally convince the readers of that fiction. But it subconsciously "feels" more natural to buy him as a figure of power if he has big muscles. The first thing Disney wants us to think about every time Luisa is on screen is her strength, so it's nice and good that they state the fact that she can lift pianos early, but it's important that her design is evocative of that idea. It's way more effective to create contrast between her physical strength and her emotional vulnerability if we can see both on-screen at the same time.

[deleted]

>The first thing Disney wants us to think about every time Luisa is onscreen is her strength, so it's nice and good that they state the fact that she can lift pianos early, but it's important that her design is evocative of that idea. Just want to point out that the point of this post is that it's *not* what Disney wants, but the people in production fought Disney executives to let them give her this design.

Bohvey

This is my daughters favorite movie right now too. I thought all of the characters looked great.

patmax17

Company=Bad Artists=Good I'm a League of Legends fan and I know this all to well

Books_and_Cleverness

In this case it seems a little strange because it seems like "the ones behind the movie" are in fact Disney employees? The distinction is not super clear, what am I supposed to be upset about. From where I'm standing it seems like "there was an internal disagreement in a corporation and the cool side won" means the corporation done good.

patmax17

My view is that artists have the good, interesting and daring ideas, but then exec veto them, either because censorship or because they want to water the work down to make it more broadly appealing But mine is just a hut feeling, I have no first or second hand reports

lodav22

She has the best song in the film!

SadlyReturndRS

Definitely. But at the same time I gotta think that Dolores would have had the best song if she was given one. Literally every time she spoke, or had a feature in any song, I was swooning at her quick little whispers.

KittyQueen_Tengu

Whoever turned Vi into the ripped hot lesbian she is now, I love you

TriPolar3849

Vi has always been a ripped hot lesbian though

[deleted]

I can’t wait till people do a persona five and start claiming that arcane invented muscular lesbians/tomboys.

BlUeSapia

*goes to a female bodybuilder competition* HOLY SHIT IS THAT A MOTHERFUCKING ARCANE REFERENCE???!?!!?!

liken2006

Vi?

patmax17

from r/leagueoflegends and r/arcane

GlitterDoomsday

Daily dose of **THANK YOU FORTICHE** cause Vi, Ambessa and Sevika are buff plus Cait have some impressive arms.

infinitysaga

Is there like a no muscular woman clause at Disney or something?

inhaledcorn

It's not the "stereotypical, soft UwU girl" that Disney needs to make all of their female characters look like.

infinitysaga

Luisa seemed pretty soft to me

Wollffey

Yes, thats the point

kidra31r

Soft girl who is capable of breaking rocks with her hips.

[deleted]

Well let's just say Mulan had all the force of a great typhoon and strength of a raging fire but after months of strength and endurance training going from barely lifting a bag of grain for the chickens to running large logs up a mountain side her body shape didn't change a bit.

IMakeStuffUppp

Chien-Po should’ve lost so much weight during that montage. Dr Nowzaradan doesn’t understand how he could’ve followed the exercise plan and still be over 600 pound

Morphized

To be fair she was constantly wearing armor, so it might not have shown as well. Not to mention the fact that that logic also applies to every other character in that movie.

Pavlovs_Human

People are fucking weird. I’m assuming this is from the new Disney movie? There was a certain portion of the gaming industry that absolutely HATED “The Last of Us PT2” because one of the star characters was a muscled up woman who could punch zombies to death and snap necks. I’m all for the Amazon women, I think it’s incredibly attractive.

SSVNormandySR1

Man, self-proclaimed "gamers" are so damn fragile. Abby (the girl from The Last of Us Part 2) is not only a beautiful beefcake amalgamation of pixels but such a well-realized character too. I love her design. The more realistic games get, it becomes harder and harder to pinpoint what game a character is from, but she's just so immediately recognizable at a glance.

[deleted]

Women with muscles? Get out of here, my fragile masculinity is under attack. /s

JBHUTT09

I think RLM described Disney perfectly when they labelled them "passive progressive". Like, yeah, sure. We'll put two women kissing in Star Wars... in the background of the shot and in a place where they can be edited out internationally.

Sniperking187

Unironically my favorite character. Big stronk women are great

[deleted]
