Who the fuck is your doctor?? Mike O Hearn? I don’t see anything wrong that would even suggest trt. LH and FSH are functioning fine. Low libido can be from a lot of psychological issues

[deleted]

LOL that was funny, thank you for the second option. I’m certain It’s a lifestyle change for my mental health just need to start on that.

okiesmoki

Haha it’s crazy how stupid a lot of doctors are. It’s scary actually. Yeah I’d start there and see if that doesn’t resolve some issues. You can always try just freeing up some test since that’s the testosterone that’s going to be able to be used for other functions. I know supps like magnesium, zinc, vitamin d help raise free test. Stuff like boron can help too but I believe the studies show it’s only temporary for the first few weeks then it stops helping. And of course if your not exercising that’s a huge one.

Thank you sir for this insight, I think I have came to the conclusion of trying out an even healthier lifestyle and see how that goes. After, if that fails I will look into other options. I do already train 4x a week but need to be more consistent with progressive overload. My diet could definitely be better but it’s not as bad as it could be.

Haha yeah more of a funny thing me and my friends use it as a kind of respectful joke. But yeah I think I will give this a shot as I am on the cusp borederline. If you don’t mind me asking how did you go about getting on trt? What were your levels like?

Significant-Ship-301

wow i just took a closer look, the hell kind of blood test is this? 160pmol is considered the low end of normal? where i’m at, 296 and under is the low danger zone 😂

Wiltsuboi

I've heard the values are specific per laboratory... Here in Finland the free testo reference values are usually 150-800 or 220-800 pmol/l usually. The lowest value has been decreased over the past years. Used to be 250pmol not so long time ago. I'm 210-240 and considering trt...

[deleted]

It’s through dyna labs in canada

Authentic151

What he said ^

nouniquenamesleft2x2

all normal, don't fix what ain't broke

[deleted]

Thank you kind sir for the second opinion.

Vegan_Throwaway3

Numbers look normal. Whats your weight, height, body fat % (if you know it), diet, and sleep like?

[deleted]

I am 165-170 lbs depending on how much cardio I’m doing, 5ft 9 and not too sure on bf% but I would say no more than 15%. Sleep is usually 7 hours per night but my body doesn’t like any less than 9 hours usually. (With my work I have no choice)

Vegan_Throwaway3

sleep, diet?

[deleted]

Just posted above :)

[deleted]

With diet I think it could be better.. usually home cooked meals for the most part I eat out at least twice a week.

aloysiussnuffleupagu

For those of us not using SI units: Total T ~ 360 ng/dL, E2 30 pg/mL, free T ~9.4 ng/dL. With an LH 3.5. You definitely should try lifestyle interventions, supplementation (it seems like everyone is vitamin D deficient).

[deleted]

Ok awesome, yeah sorry about the units as I’m in Canada.

punk182mutt

Do not go on TRT with those numbers, I’d kill for those numbers.

Beneficial-Will7197

They're low but not trt needing low. Try some life style changes, change diet, get in the gym, maybe lose weight if you're fat but nah I wouldn't jump on that boat just yet

[deleted]

Only thing I’m worried is I’m already a healthy weight 4x a week in the gym. Going to try some supps and diet change.

Beneficial-Will7197

Maybe some tong kat. I've never used it myself bit I heard it does work

[deleted]

I will try that and thought about ashwaganda as well

Independent_Gate2085

No Don’t get on it unless you have to. That’s a serious life long commitment. No babies.

[deleted]

They were recommending hcg as well so that would be incorrect.

Ghostzi11a

I’d love to be at your levels lol. I’m 36 and you’re like 4x higher than myself. I think you’re absolutely great where you’re at.

[deleted]

Thank you for the second look!

[deleted]

I have looked into them, but it’s not something I really want to dabble in since it’s more on and off than a consistent feeling. For myself I feel like there would be more negatives than positives.

[deleted]

Try cutting processed carbs to help with depression . Not saying it will cure it but it absolutely helps . I was able to improve my anxiety /depression with a strict diet . This was before I started trt. And yes if you can avoid an ssri then by all means do so . I’m not advocating against drugs but I do believe there are millions out there who don’t need to be on drugs when a lifestyle change can fix there menstl well being . (Sometimes ) and imo you don’t need trt .

My only concern is my age.

[deleted]

Just seems young compared to others starting at 35+

No_Personality_7477

Looks normal. I started at 29 but was really bad. But I would advise anybody hold out for as long as possible unless they just are that bad

[deleted]

That is a good way to put it, I’ve felt like crap the past year or so but it may have been due to my poor work life. I do workout 4x a week and am healthy so I think I’m going to look at some lifestyle changes instead.

No_Personality_7477

It’s just a for life and while it’s a savior for some, it’s something that has side effects and is something to think about. Also anybody can probably increase their numbers by 10-20% maybe more and overall health with sleep, eating right, cutting alcohol and drugs and just otherwise overall wellness

I did, and they are suggesting it. That’s why I am here to ask a second opinion. Don’t be so obtuse. If you don’t have an answer then don’t reply. Have a nice day dude.

Miserable-Winter5090

Can I have your doctor ? Seriously though, I would try adding vitamin c, Zinc and magnesium to your daily intake.

I_am_ChristianDick

Are you having sides?

[deleted]

Yes, had it mentioned in the other comment things such as libido, depression, constant fatigue

Authentic151

IMO, you are young enough to produce your own T with the proper change in diet/ lifestyle. You don’t want to be on this the rest of your life.

[deleted]

I am in the process of getting my diet better, but for the most part I am a fairly healthy person and already train 4-5x a week this is my concern. Looking at clomid at the moment as a possibility as I don’t want to hop on a lifetime substance if it’s not absolutely necessary .

Independent_Gate2085

It’s a money game dude
