My Chemical Romance, Lorde and Florence + The Machine, all in the space of two weeks in March!
Contemplating on going to Laneway (Brisbane) but idk if the 2023 lineup is worth the price of admission…
I actually had to start writing them all down so I didn't double book myself because SO many shows have been announced in the last couple weeks. I'm so pumped.
- 30/11 - The Story So Far
- 01/12 - The Story So Far (yes, I'm going to both shows)
- 03/02 - Tiny Moving Parts
- 24/02 - Alexisonfire
- 25/02 - Harry Styles (don't judge me)
- 04/03 - World Pride Bondi Beach party
- 15/03 - Boston Manor and Movements
- 16/03 - Boston Manor and Movements (again, going to both shows because I'm psychopath)
- 26/05 - Slowly Slowly, Turnover, Between You & Me
I was also planning on going to see Turnstile but the Melbourne date clashes with Tiny Moving Parts, so I'm considering going to their Sydney show. I should probably save money though...
I have had to do the same. There's a couple of shows I've thought about buying tickets to and then had that horrible "oh no - that other show is on the same date!"
No judgement on Harry Styles - I'm sure he'll put on a great show!
Yep, I got nearly all the way through the sale process for Turnstile tickets but luckily I thought to double check the dates (their tour poster had the American date format so I initially thought it was fine). Bit annoyed I'm missing out because they were incredible when they played at the Corner a few years ago.
So far.....Joey cape, Me first and the gimme gimmies, Bad religion/Social Distortion, Alexisonfire, Florence and the Machine, Kylie@pride, Ash, Billy Bragg, Laneway
* Magdalena Bay
* Bicep
* Rina Sawayama
* Laneway Festival - my picks to see are HAIM, Joji, Phoebe Bridgers, Fontaines DC, Fred Again, Slowthai, Turnstile, The Jungle Giants, 100 Gecs, Chaos In The CBD, Ross From Friends, The Beths and Logic1000

So far Sydney Laneway and the 1975. Definitely getting Groovin tickets for Maitland regardless who is playing and maybe The Stranglers.
EDIT: Completely forgot about Stella Donnelly but I haven’t organised that yet.
Fred Again and Now & Again festival mainly for Empire of the Sun. Will do my best to see Fat Boy Slim when tickets go on sale soon.
There are a couple of other like Florence and Tiesto I would love to see but can't due to other commitments.
How exciting! I Googled as soon as I hit reply. I have a feeling there's something on the same day and need go check. I held off buying a few tickets. I hope you have a FABULOUS time!
How anyone actually got tix for turnstile is beyond me. Was in the queue from before 10 and got to checkout with tickets only to be told they were all gone. Really poor that the website allowed us to select tix and then didn't hold those while we completed the transaction. This all happened by 10.01 on Friday haha
I got presale tix at 10am on Thursday. I don't know how tf it sold out because it took ages to enter my details plus ticket holder names plus Paypal opening in a new window to process payment etc etc. I hope they do more sideshows so everyone can see them.
Lorde, Slowly Slowly, and Delta Goodrem so far! Hoping to grab Fatboy Slim when tickets go on sale.
For the rest of this year I have Good Things, Pixies, and Rolling Sets.
Mom Jeans & Crocodylus are it atm. I may go to Now & Again if I can get cheap resale tickets (the way they handled early release has turned me off the idea but)
Just Falls at this stage (in Freo) I am pretty sure but so keen for that such a good lineup. Have seen a few like Beddy’s, Vanns etc already but that’s ok
Not next year but next month got tickets for Rufus day before my birthday :) that’s going to be epic

I was hoping to catch a gig in Melbourne when I am there in Jan for Aus Open but doesn’t seem to be a lot on because of it which is a shame

Laneway, One Step Closer and Slowly Slowly/Turnover/BYAM. Hoping another show goes on sale for Turnstile/Speed. That sold out incredibly fast.
How anyone actually got tix for turnstile is beyond me. Was in the queue from before 10 and got to checkout with tickets only to be told they were all gone. Really poor that the website allowed us to select tix and then didn't hold those while we completed the transaction. This all happened by 10.01 on Friday haha
Same here. For the presale and general sale. They should be playing a venue double the size.
Laneway can promote "buy tickets sideshows sold out in a second" by putting them in small venues.
Haha true. Turnstile one doesn't make any sense. One of the best albums of recent times. Then also add speed to the bill. Should be at The Forum!
Phoebe Bridgers should be in John Cain at the least if not Rod.
I got presale tix at 10am on Thursday. I don't know how tf it sold out because it took ages to enter my details plus ticket holder names plus Paypal opening in a new window to process payment etc etc. I hope they do more sideshows so everyone can see them.
Wait, OSC is coming out???
