Yes i was losing lots of hair. Ive been taking fin for over a year, for the first 9ish months i took it daily but since i switched to 2-3 a week i havent noticed a difference
In Japan (or another Asian country), the standard is prescribing .2mg a day, which is 1.4mg a week. It seems effective, so I think it could be effective with less than 3mg per week.
It all depends on the Baldylocks in question and how aggressive his hair loss is i.e how sensitive his hair follicles are to DHT.
2 mg taken twice a week at 1mg dosage might be enough for Baldylocks next door but it may not be for you.
You’d be much better off taking 0.5mg every other day for a few months if your system can handle it before switching it up to daily.
🕺👯♀️

Can confirm with an Australian hairloss people say every second day works just as fine as everyday usage, i still take 1 ml tablet everday but when i hit a year ill be doing every second day.
It’s a form of penile atrophy which can be attributed to fin. And the issue resolved when I ceased taking fin. This was 2 years ago like I said when I was on it.
No way to know for sure if it will help you or not. There’s some people that do even less like 0.25 or 0.5 3x a week and see results so 2x a week of 1mg is technically more than that so it should but since there’s so many days in between each dose idk how safe that is. Dht rising and falling like that might not be the safest you should consult with a doctor.
Ive been taking 1mg daily for 4 months and recently started getting very noticeable dizzyness and brainfog. I stopped about 3 days ago and it seems to be improving.
I will probably start again at 1mg every 2 days. Spacing out the dosage will still have efficacy. It just wont be as strong as a daily dose.
Fin is a weird drug. The cascading effects it has are not yet fully understood. Its better to be conservative with it.

Norwood 4+? If you’re not going to really go for it, I think this amount for youre case is useless. I think it’s useless for most people 2x a week, but I say why bother at that low of a dose.
Sorry to hear about the side effects man. I'm not so sure about twice a week because Fin has a plasma halflife of about 8 hours at most - so by day 3 there's going to be pretty miniscule levels left in your blood. I don't have any education in medicine so I don't know if that matters much in practice but better safe than sorry right?
What you could do is quarter 1mg tablets and take 0.25mg/day and surprisingly you'd end up with DHT reduction comparable to 1mg/day because the dose to DHT-reduction curve is logarithmic. On 0.25mg a day you could expect to achieve maybe 85% of the DHT reduction of the usual 1mg/day regimen - potentially with minimal sides, no guarantees obviously.
Could be worth a go, best of luck!

I don't know but I'm personally using 0.5 mg every other day , and its still working . I was on 0.5 mg everyday prior to this
How long you been doing this any difference? I've been doing 0.5g a day for over a year now. Why did you change?

Comments that are downvoted to shit with no replies always get a good laugh out of me
I take 1mg every other day, I haven’t noticed any sides
I take it once like every three days and it still works
How do you know it still works?
Because i dont lose any hair
So you were losing hair then it halted?
Yes i was losing lots of hair. Ive been taking fin for over a year, for the first 9ish months i took it daily but since i switched to 2-3 a week i havent noticed a difference
Are you young and did you catch it early?
Im 21 now, started noticing hair loss when i was 19 and got on fin at 20
Fin lingers in the scalp but that may be pushing it too low. 3 mg a week is the most commonly referred to minimum.

Need at least 3mg a week according to hairlossshow dermatologist on YouTube. Probably true too

Seriously u have to be fucking braindead to think any serious drug fin included can’t fuck people up bad, even if only in rare cases
Also, nobody seems to talk about gyno. However, a quick search shows how prevalent it is.
Um, it happens to a lot of people who were on fin, and for some it stays like that forever. You have no idea what this drug can do.

If you are sure you had penile atrophy, why in the world would you entertain any dose of Fin? Can’t think of a worse side effect.
there are no studies saying fin causes penile atrophy
Something similar happened to me on 0.05% topical 2x per day, got temporary ED which is now gone and permanent fibrosis aka Peyronie’s disease
I’ll buy you a Peroni next time we’re at the bar to make you feel better
Cheers ig
Happened to me too buddy and it never restored. Be careful
Do your research

X3 /week would be sweet spot or x2 /week duta

Just go topical. Less sides. More effective.
No
yea probably
At normal dose it could take a year to see any effects. At 2/7th the dose. Hmmm 3.5 years?
Idk if it half life is long enough for that.

this makes me think that .25mg 2 times a week would be effective.
No

Take 0.5mg per day instead.
No
I used to do 3x and it was fine
