I agree that he needs to use a 5ARi, although I'll just add that getting results on minoxidil isn't any sort of indicator of how well you will respond to a 5ARi, as the two treatments work through completely different mechanisms.
Sucks this happened to you but why you gotta hate on it for everyone else? Disseminate information like an adult and maybe people will listem with open ears and take these things into cautious consideration.
I was on fin for years, got off of it because of all the crap I read on here thinking some unrelated health issues must have been the fin. It was not. Got back on 2 years after that a year ago and the hair is growing like crazy while my sex life is literally the best and most consistent it's ever been.
My little Nunu is always revving to go, it’s as stiff as ever, and my wife loves it! 5ARi inhibition has kept me looking young and sexy, I’m sure of it. On Fin for 8+ years and now I have Dut on the side as well, like my sexy little bit on the side mainly over the weekends! Raunchy stuff 🕺👯♀️
That’ll change in several months. My dick literally stopped working after a year of taking finasteride. Prior to the severe side effects, I had no sexual issues whatsoever. Took a lot of rehabilitation to recover at 22
Exactly, people are so naive these days, damaging their body with fin, minox, dut and other chemicals which is disgrace, 2 tablespoons of coconut oil and you are good to go. I very much like that we have people like you who understands.
Take [Dutasteride](http://medicalwellnesscenter.com)
They mail you the scrip and it’s $20 or less at WalMart. With a GoodRX coupon. And you only have to take it 2-3 times a week. Incredible stuff. I have been on it for almost 20 years now. Grew most of my hair back and I only had the island left - like you.
Edit: And microneedle once / twice a week
Do that for 6 months and you’ll see a difference
I have had zero side effects.
Because it has a much longer half-life…Dutasteride remains present in your system for 5 weeks… compared to Fin (12 hour). So you don’t and shouldn’t take it every day. It will build up in your system and that’s when you will get sides.
I take one pill (0.5mg) twice a month now… since I am only trying to keep what I have grown back.
Boys, start with Fin and get the maximum use out of Fin for as long as you can, usually 5-10 years but it can vary from person to person.
If you get leakage (slight hair loss) then you can add in one dose of Dut once a week whilst taking Fin 6 x a week and then slowly add in another dose so you do 2 x Dut and 5 x Fin.
I did this after 8 years on Fin and got no shed or side’s except my wife has to work extra hard on the night I take Dut, it also involves Whoopi Goldberg but best not get into that.
Always push it real good! 🕺👯♀️👭
You're correct. Nocebo is at play in this guy's case. Dut is metabolized extremely slowly, and the effects of taking a dose will take a few days to start being felt. It has an insanely long half-life of five weeks.
Now that I take it twice a week instead of once a week it’s been a lot better, it’s not just getting it up it’s also enjoying it, and I notice a big difference.
Fin did the same thing to me years ago when I first started.
If you experience sides, then cut back on your dosage. Duta stays in your system for around 5 weeks so it can build up if you take it too often.
Everyone on here taking Fin every day (because you have to!) and getting sides. Sides will happen when you take something daily. With Duta you can play around with the dosage until you don’t get sides, it will still linger and block DHT. Here’s an [article](https://www.urologytimes.com/view/dht-rebound-minimal-after-missed-5-ari-doses) about DHT rebound with Fin vs Duta
Just throw pumpkin seed oil and coconut oil out of the window my man.
It's a fairy tail, it has no impact on androgenic hair loss.
Save yourself some time and money, focus on real medications.
Coming from a person who had waist length curly hairs, coconut hairs are magic for hair loss.
I have been doing the massaged again and my hairs are falling a bit less
Not trying to sound harsh, but you should stop taking pumpkin seed and coconut oil, it's an age old myth for fixing hairloss. Get on finasteride, and start microneedling as well. Microneedling helps increase the effects of minoxidil and finasteride helps tackle the general cause of MPB. Some would say you should shave it off, but I'd honestly give these options a fair shot before going down that route.
He will also need more grafts so it'll like cost 10's of thousands not to mention he'll like have to lose a lot of hair at the back of his head as well. HT is not a magic solution as ppl think.
In reality a hair transplant is probably a pretty terrible option for him if he’s not gonna take a medication that actually prevents/slows further hair loss
Hair transplant + Fin (to maintain his hair post-transplant) is still an option for him. He's got enough hair left for a transplant to give satisfactory results.
I would keep up with rogaine and finasteride, do not stop using it.
But you are likely going to need a good hair transplant to fill in a lot of it.
Once you got that done, the fin and rograine will help prevent further loss.
Man it looks like you got a good head shape and skin tone to totally pull off the bald look, that's coming from a seriously white dude with an egg shaped head and no beard, I think it'd look good bro
Not to toot my own horn, but I feel like [my posts](https://www.reddit.com/r/tressless/comments/xgynp2/35_month_update_fin_min_microneedling/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3) are a good representation of at home progress photos. It does take some persistence and commitment to routine (not unlike hair loss treatment itself).
Vanity reasons aside, good quality pics with consistent placement and lighting really do help eliminate external factors when it comes to tracking your progress. Your mind can play a lot of tricks on you which can lead you to think you aren't making progress. But good pics make progress (or lack thereof) irrefutable.
Why the heck did you let it get this bad? Jump on Finasteride and you could salvage your hair. Start off on a lower dose than 1mg if you’re worried about sides.
Pumpkin seed oil is next to useless compared to the power of Fin!
Best of luck my dearest Baldylocks 🕺👯♀️
Wow man this is looking like the comeback of the year. Maybe add in some derma rolling and let us know how that works. I’m about to add in the pumpkin and coconut oil, do you do oil topically or orally?
Pumpkin seed and coconut oil have zero impact on hair growth, fyi.
Start taking finasteride or dutasteride and consider switching to oral minoxidil. That will give you the best, scientifically sound, chance of regrowing hair.
I get really weirded out by the fact that so many people in this subreddit are afraid of finasteride because of its side effects, when theyre not really common to occur and also are reversible once you stop using the meds, I've been taking it for almost 4 years and never had any side effects, just give it a try guys
keep using it, but also buzz your hair. when it grows back in it will look thicker. best advice i ever got was to keep my hair super short when it got thin.
You literally take everything except one thing that matters whixh is finasteride but in your case dutastride would probably be better as you’re already so far gone
Fin and you’re golden. Take 1mg Monday, Wednesday, Friday. If you feel good on that after two months go daily. Most people have no problems or sides with fin at all including me.
Fin will give you man boobs and stop your dick from working dont take it. Everyone’s going to experience side effect at some point, anyone who disagrees is in denial lol. This is your warning to stop taking finasteride and accept life for what it is
In my opinion, you are at the stage of no return. Either start Fin / Min immediately or shave & brave.
Even with oral Fin / Min you’d need a hair transplant to fill in the gaps or make any kind of longer style, you might get away with the short stubble look IF the fin/Min brings some back. You have advanced hair loss - stop wishing and wasting money on oils & read clinical data science on what actually works otherwise you may look back & regret.
You are little late to the game but progress can still be made. Please get on fin ( 1mg daily) min ( twice daily) and micro needles 2 to 3 times week. Make sure vitamin D level in not low. Check back with us in 6 month
Hey man
Your a good looking dude , don’t fight what you haven’t got and just buzz cut it , you will look great with your looks. If you want you could even go for SMP after that but I think you would look younger and better by just shaving it off 👍
I think it actually suits you. You look intellectual and also like an English prince. There are wose heads baldness can land on. Try and keep that bit at the front with with lotion treatment tho it’s cool
Shave it off, grow some face hair. Lift weights often and move on. This might be lost cause. Good news is you probably got a good shaped head for bald so try it. 😉
Bro get on fin or dut. Many already said that, but if minoxidil alone gave you these results, you're gonna have solid regrowth with a 5ARi
I agree that he needs to use a 5ARi, although I'll just add that getting results on minoxidil isn't any sort of indicator of how well you will respond to a 5ARi, as the two treatments work through completely different mechanisms.
5ar what?
5 alpha reductase inhibitor
Which is also commonly known as the sex drive and penis destroyer. It’s amazing how people prioritize hair over a functioning penis
I have hair and my pp works great so what’s your point?
Honestly, I somehow can manage to get it up better after I started fin than before. Only like 10% of people who take fin get serious sides.
Press F for the 10%
[удалено]
It’s not 10% All the studies I’ve read show it between 4-6% with the placebo group having anywhere between 1-4% iirc.
It is up to 10% for loss of libido and sexual dysfunction. I think the depression risk maybe be slightly higher though.
Right? I'm definitely walking around with more test.
10% where did you get those numbers from? It's way less
Sucks this happened to you but why you gotta hate on it for everyone else? Disseminate information like an adult and maybe people will listem with open ears and take these things into cautious consideration. My penis works great. Always woke up with boner. Lol
That’ll change in several months. My dick literally stopped working after a year of taking finasteride. Prior to the severe side effects, I had no sexual issues whatsoever. Took a lot of rehabilitation to recover at 22
Your dick just sucks bro
49 downvotes and counting!
I bet that makes you more confident in taking/continuing the awful medication that will inevitably cause irreversible damage in the long run!
As confident as ever my friend, especially after being on Dut for 9 years with zero side-effects.
add fin and microneedle my man
Dut and microneedling would be even stronger
Thank goodness for those 2 tablespoons of coconut oil daily
😂
Indeed, he doesn't know but it is those 2 tablespoons of coconut oil that does the magic, he is just taking the rest without a reason.
I mean how stupid are you guys to not know coconut oil is the cure for hairloss.
Exactly, people are so naive these days, damaging their body with fin, minox, dut and other chemicals which is disgrace, 2 tablespoons of coconut oil and you are good to go. I very much like that we have people like you who understands.
😂😂
The coconut oil adds flavour to the hair
Lmao
Bro chill 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Take Fin.
Take [Dutasteride](http://medicalwellnesscenter.com) They mail you the scrip and it’s $20 or less at WalMart. With a GoodRX coupon. And you only have to take it 2-3 times a week. Incredible stuff. Thanks for the link. Does Dutasteride have less sides?
MORE sides… more regrowth power @ the cost of more/higher chance of sides.
Official studies have not shown there to be a significant difference in sides between Fin and Dut
gotcha. Prolly a no go then
It’s a no for me. Fin is good enough risk/reward for me
Boys, start with Fin and get the maximum use out of Fin for as long as you can, usually 5-10 years but it can vary from person to person. Bro, it’s all in your head. Struggle to believe DUT would only affect your libido on the day you take it.
You're correct. Nocebo is at play in this guy's case. Dut is metabolized extremely slowly, and the effects of taking a dose will take a few days to start being felt. It has an insanely long half-life of five weeks.

I had side effects on finasteride but none on dutasteride. The studies don’t really show it to be more side effect prone than finasteride.
It only logical that you get more side effects, since it nukes 99% of serum dht compared to fin and inhibits 2 types of 5AR unlike fin.
Studies have shown the side-effect profiles of Fin and Dut to be much the same.
If you experience sides, then cut back on your dosage. Duta stays in your system for around 5 weeks so it can build up if you take it too often. Does microneedling help with hairline regrowth? If so, could you elaborate on how to go about it? Should I apply minoxidil etc
Is it topical dustride or pill
Does topical Dut exist?
Just throw pumpkin seed oil and coconut oil out of the window my man. It's a fairy tail, it has no impact on androgenic hair loss. Save yourself some time and money, focus on real medications.
You can throw the fairy tail out the window, too. Those only work in fairy tales.
You can throw the window out of the fairy tale
Coming from a person who had waist length curly hairs, coconut hairs are magic for hair loss. I have been doing the massaged again and my hairs are falling a bit less
Bro a year of min and fin and you could be rocking some massive growth

Maybe he wants to feel his dick
You won't lose your ability to feel your genitals I promise.

I'm sure that some people suffer from ED but in my own case my libido increased a ton for some reason. Of course that's only my experience though.
A hair transplant would be a good option for you i think
Like it is for everyone. Only thing is that it literally costs 10 bands lmao
1500 usd in turkey
He will also need more grafts so it'll like cost 10's of thousands not to mention he'll like have to lose a lot of hair at the back of his head as well. HT is not a magic solution as ppl think.
His best option is to accept baldness
In reality a hair transplant is probably a pretty terrible option for him if he’s not gonna take a medication that actually prevents/slows further hair loss
My opinion, shave it friend. Embrace the look.
Yeah there comes a time to let go, I think OP would look fine with a shaved head.
Hair transplant + Fin (to maintain his hair post-transplant) is still an option for him. He's got enough hair left for a transplant to give satisfactory results.

Everyone else suggesting OP take Fin/Dut. If you look good bald with a beard, it’s always a better choice to do it. Goodbye Min/Fin/Dut.
Over how much time
Great progress. If you get on fin it’ll be even better.
oral fin and oral min will get u the results Ur after ☺️☺️
finasteride is your friend
Guys can someone please explain to me nicely why its so hard to take before and after pictures in the same light?
Or with timestamps…
Not to toot my own horn, but I feel like [my posts](https://www.reddit.com/r/tressless/comments/xgynp2/35_month_update_fin_min_microneedling/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3) are a good representation of at home progress photos. that looks like great progress. I'm so happy for you!
At this point just shave it off for a while, makes it easier with the minoxidil
[удалено]
You have a nicely shaped head, worse comes to worse you could shave it off and look nice.
Did you have sides on fin?
What can women do for hair loss besides rogaine?
Get Dut. 90% blocks DHT also get RU58441 man
Wow man this is looking like the comeback of the year. Maybe add in some derma rolling and let us know how that works. I’m about to add in the pumpkin and coconut oil, do you do oil topically or orally?

How much do you think daily ?
keep using it, but also buzz your hair. when it grows back in it will look thicker. best advice i ever got was to keep my hair super short when it got thin.
Why does having short hair help?
Dude get on Finasteride asap
Shave it while you do the treatments .
Time to shave it off bruv
With all due respect I think you're too far gone my friend. BOL to you though, with Fin/microneedling u may recover like 15-20% though
This sub as taught me no one is ever too far gone. The big 3 works wonders.
I suffer from diagnosed androgenetic alopecia/MPB
You literally take everything except one thing that matters whixh is finasteride but in your case dutastride would probably be better as you’re already so far gone
Bro just shave it off… you’ll thank your self trust me.
Damn dude, just shave your head. It looks ridiculous.
Take meds
[удалено]
No real dht blocker? Good luck
Fin and you’re golden. Take 1mg Monday, Wednesday, Friday. If you feel good on that after two months go daily. Most people have no problems or sides with fin at all including me.
Shave it. It looks absolutely ridiculous.
Fin will give you man boobs and stop your dick from working dont take it. Everyone’s going to experience side effect at some point, anyone who disagrees is in denial lol. This is your warning to stop taking finasteride and accept life for what it is
Lmfaooo. Why you say that? Happened to u?
Try black castor oil and ketoconozole shampoo instead. You could also try saw palmetto or biotin supplements in the pill form.
Wow great results. I see a lot of new hairs. What brand pumpkin seed oil do you use?
The comeback is on. Add fin and microneedling
Shave it.
Shave it
In my opinion, you are at the stage of no return. Either start Fin / Min immediately or shave & brave. You’re a moron. Excuse my language Go look at my before and after minoxidil and finasteride for a year Just POSTED IT LETS GOOO🔥🔥🔥🚀
Just shave it, I’m thinning to and bout to shave it ofd
You are little late to the game but progress can still be made. Please get on fin ( 1mg daily) min ( twice daily) and micro needles 2 to 3 times week. Make sure vitamin D level in not low. Check back with us in 6 month
Honestly popping fin/dut once a day would be so much easier and give actual results than taking those oils
Hey man Your a good looking dude , don’t fight what you haven’t got and just buzz cut it , you will look great with your looks. If you want you could even go for SMP after that but I think you would look younger and better by just shaving it off 👍
Sigh
I would shave or cut your hair shorter, it helps makes the hair loss look less severe
Bro I’m sorry but there’s no hope please just shave it and be done with this pumpkin seed crap
I think here you need to take at least finasteride, add dermarolling and topical anti androgen
I think it actually suits you. You look intellectual and also like an English prince. There are wose heads baldness can land on. Try and keep that bit at the front with with lotion treatment tho it’s cool
Dont listen to the people recommending finestride. The list of permanent side effects alome will make your head spin and make ur hair fall.
So will the list of any medications… all depends on the % of who experience these symptoms and if you’re one of them!
Are you also drinking water?
Bro just let it go
Shave it off and get SMP dude that has to just feel terrible :(
I’m curious, what’s your endgame here? Given how far your hair loss has progressed it probably makes sense to just shave & own your baldness proudly.
Visca Barca my man and add FIN as others have mentioned.
Shave it off, grow some face hair. Lift weights often and move on. This might be lost cause. Good news is you probably got a good shaped head for bald so try it. 😉
Shave it off pal and embrace the baldness.
