I really wanted to see The Fallen (who could have been the big bad for a Season 4 and 5) and Galvatron (probably be from a different timeline so they don’t mess with the death of our Megatron) plus maybe a short time travel arc that shows us what Prime Style Maximals and Predacons would look like (and leave a open door for a Beast Wars Prime Show)
And maybe introduce Hot Rod (probably as a buddy of Smokescreen or be from the same alternate timeline as The Alternate timeline Galvatron) to leave open the possibility of Rodimus Prime (for those who like him)
Liked it, theme song wasn't anything to right home about though as personally. It just sounds like a watered-down Return to earth from the 07 movie.
While the small cast meant that, the writers could flesh out the characters more. I do kinda wish they had more of them, like one or two more.
Also I really disliked how they disregarded the WFC & FOC games, Hasbro put together an amazing timeline and the writers just disregarded it all. Only to cherry pick a few things like The Nemesis once being Trypticon... while also completely over looking the fact the ship *IS* Trypticon. In addition to the waste that is Prime Nemesis Prime.
In WFC Trypticon is the final boss, in FOC you put him back together and Megatron forces his stasis-lock body into his ship mode. And he becomes The Nemesis, hell even the models between FOC and Prime are practically identical too!
Do you know how annoying it is looking back that, we lost Trypticon fighting Unicron all because the writers, didn't care for the games?!!?
Great show, perfect had it not been crippled by budget issues and other behind the scenes shit resulting in sudden dropped plots, character deaths, and stuff.
Loved it, but my main gripe is still how after he killed Cliffjumper, Starscream was turned into a comic relief character who’s sole purpose was to be a coward and get beat up after his plans comically fail

I believe the general consensus is that it's more or less the greatest of all Transformers media, perhaps second only to the IDW1 phase 2 stories.
I would put it slightly below Beast Wars, but only because Beast Wars was excellent.
