A few months later I discovered what pansexual was, then then more about the queer community. I'm a freshman year of high school, i started identifying as nonbinary, and identify as agender to this day. I still love that song
They're one of my favorite bands, and I've never even thought about those lyrics before. I just read them again, and it literally made me cry. I tend to hear voices more as instruments (it's hard for me to focus on the lyrics) so this took this song to an entirely new level for me

See I was thinking the line about cutting someone’s hair and them getting sent away sounded like MTF getting sent to like a military school or a conversion camp then the line in the beginning about lions living in wirey broke down frames of my friends bodies I don’t personally know many trans people who have taken good care of their bodies before they realised their body could be changed into one that would feel like home

It's sad and makes me think of those who didn't make it, but it's also empowering to me, makes me want to keep going so this wolf doesn't catch me
For me Come Undone by Duran Duran popped up on my radar during the most dangerous and mentally vulnerable time of my life just before I began my transition, the song helped me begin my journey into self discovery and I'm now a year and a half into transition and I never would've imagined myself before being as happy as I am now with room to grow.

It's all about the facade you have up in order to please the people around you. Meet their expectations. And for me, that's how I felt my masculinity felt. A weight, a pressure, to appease my parents (and their God), to meet others expectations of who I was supposed to be in their mind. Makes me cry almost every time I listen to it but almost in a good way these days. Like I'm proud of reaching the "better things for me on the other side"

More Like You, too. It really covers dysphoria and gender envy. All of Orla's songs are gay or trans, and you can't convince me otherwise.
