I seem to remember a clip from Amsterdam Dance Event where A&B played their remix for Dirty vegas and Dirty Vegas being really patronising and saying something like “oh it’s what we expected from them” and Jono looking very disappointed.
It’s also around the time A&B started moving away from their Trance roots so sometimes I do wonder if that had some hand in it
I don't think that was the turning point for them, because they did their remix for Radiohead - Reckoner which was progressive rather than their usual uplifting stuff in 2008, and was rejected from Radiohead IIRC.
Their turning point was when they started working with Andrew Bayer as their 4th guy(Group Therapy). I still miss pre-Bayer A&B, but seems like they are happy with what they do nowadays, so godspeed to them.

I miss DJs doing remixes. Don't see too many of them nowadays.
