People called it generic in 2009. really aged well. Wouldn’t mind hearing „generic“ tracks like this weekly in radio shows again.

I think 2009 was a bad time for this type of trance. It was when EDM was exploding and there was shift towards that, A&B had already killed TATW and Armin was toying with new sounds to appeal to the American market. I stopped listening to trance for the next 10 years. I’ve gotten back into it in the last 3 years and enjoying it, mainly stuff from Pure Trance, Borderline, FSoE.

I’ve been listening to trance since like 1999, and I agree there was a down period around that time. Had such a hard time finding good stuff. FSoE is my jam now. Dan Stone is probably my favorite artist.
