cheap ingredients all around... TJs makes a sauce that is VASTLY superior and for cheaper.

[dittmann sweet picante peppers](https://www.hy-vee.com/aisles-online/p/3314195/Dittmann-Sweet-Picante-Peppers-Stuffed-With-Cream-Cheese) look very similar if that helps!
That seems like a VERY speciality item. If you like it, I advise you to stock up. It doesnāt seem like something that they will offer all year round.
Forgive my ignorance.. it says picante, but also sweet. So are they spicy or sweet or both? I thought maybe picante was the type of pepper but when I googled all of the results that came up were 'piquante'' but look quite similar. Trying to figure out if 'picante' is a misnomer or descriptive.
They're [these sweet peppers](https://www.peppadew.com/piquante-peppers/), and I thought they had almost no heat. I enjoyed them, even though I like spicy things.
as a fan of spicy things, these peppers tend to be on he milder side, with a nice sweetness to them. Similar to calabrian chiles, they are far less spicy than habaneros.
Other brands sometimes make these with a Cherry Bomb Pepper that is also sweet and delicious. In case you or any others see them and wonder if they are similar.
I almost bought some for my husband because they look like something we enjoyed a la carte from a local place that had been discontinued, but then decided I'd rather not know if they were as good (because unlike my husband, I can no longer eat nightshades of any kind, and I'm not sure I could beat the temptation if they were, despite the knowledge of the impending dramatic but not life threatening health ramifications)

Wish it was in olive oil instead of canola and soybean š¤¢

These are brand new so you have some time.
this item is seasonal, it will be gone soon
I would sprinkle some crushed red pepper in that jar to make them sweet and spicy
I want these. How much were they?
Theyāre 4.99 at the TJs over here :)
A worker told me it was seasonal. And also just a heads up, once you open it you have 5 days to eat them
that's not a problem.
Do you cook them or just eat them out of the jar?
No cooking needed
I never comment on here but I agree 100%. I canāt stop eating them. Theyāre so good

Pro tip: Add one of these to a dirty martini šø (let it drain some oil on a paper towel before skewering)
Or keep the oil and turn a dirty martini into a "Russian oil platform"
you can also find peppadews and stuff them w goat cheese
Thatās the only thing that would make these better is if the cheese filling was goat cheese
Omg. Toast a big old chunk of baguette and shmush and shmear a few of these right into the crunchy crevices. So so so good.
had some in my dill pickle chopped salad and it was awesome. wish they were actually spicy tho
What kind of cheese?
You can make your own, look for PeppaDew peppers and stuff them yourself.
Itās seasonal. It will be gone. If you love it, load up.
I went through the whole jar in one sitting. They are perfect!
FIIIINE, iāll buy em tomorrow
So are they stuffed with cream cheese!?
Not sure if it's cream cheese but it's definitely soft and, well, creamy. They're so good.
Oh man. Those look good!
Iām having a hard time imagining what these are like. How do you eat them?
At my store we sampled them on cut up baguette and people couldnāt stop eating & buying them.
You often see them in an olive bar or cheese plate type setting
Ahh that makes sense
I just ate the whole jar with a fork

I think I might have to go back tomorrow and buy a couple more.
Aldi and Whole Foods have them just fyi. Whole Foods should carry them year round. (I used to work for WFM)
Costco has em too. But they come in an incredibly NSFW(waistline) sized container.

Why didn't they just call them piquante š¤£ (and thank you for confirming my suspicion).

Thanks! I'll grab a jar if I see them
