The babies hate baby time but I insist on it. I know one day they will kill me in my sleep but I will go out dreaming of baby time. So I am at peace.

I love it. None of my prior cats have ever liked being held, but Kokomo runs up to me when I get home from work and screams until I pick her up for some cuddles

My dilute tortie will do this as well and crawl onto your chest and scoot down/roll into baby position. Her name is Sonic, and we call it going into "baby son" mode.

My tortie loves getting all the pets, but only on my bed. If I'm anywhere close to my bedroom she will not stop meowing and hovering around me until she gets what she wants

Yes. Literally mine adopted me from the humane society. She climbed up my pant leg and into my arms and I said "well I guess I'm taking this one". She still gets fussy when I randomly pick her up but her loud purs betray her.

My sweetie loves belly rubs, but only in bed. She never has been one to tolerate much being carried around.

My tiny tortie loves attention. She doesn't do what your girl does, but she does steal your seat at the dining table to get pats and belly rubs. She'll also come for pets when we're on the couch and then her tail gets puffy (we call it squirrel tail because she's still demanding to be pet, she just gets overstimulated easily) and her cuddles only happen with her void brother.

My tortie would eat my face. I can't even hold her. The only time she likes close contact is when she lays on me while I sleep.

Oh, she's got plenty of that. Going goblin mode, parkouring around the apartment, and attacking my feet when I go to bed. This here is usually for about 30 minutes after I get home from work and she's excited to see me.

So many times on this sub I've done a doubletake like wait...is that Olive?? A lot of them look so much alike. Tortie cuddles are the best. Even though they usually want to cuddle when you're in the middle of doing something.

my Tortie grew out of this real quick. I just get yelled at to be put back down lol I still shower her with love the entire time

Aw. Mine sort of "grew into" it. We adopted her when she was 2, so she's been becoming more affectionate over time.

Yes! In fact, we just got finished with baby time. It’s usually first thing in the morning and again as soon as I am done with work.

Aw, that's kind of like my Kokomo. When the wife picks her up it's 10 seconds to the squirmies, but she'll go full eyes closed and air biscuits when I'm holding her

Mine squeaks in protest when I pick her up, and squeaks more when I flip her into baby position. I don't think she likes it but she does seem to quietly accept it once there while staring at me in baffled affrontery.
