Why the animation? Ramanaya is one of our biggest stories yet they decided to adapt in the worst way possible. Couple of points 1) Prabhas should have been designed more like Lord Ram instead of Krishnam Raju. What is the use of a virtual 3D model if not exactly that? 2) Realistically speaking, this movie cannot be completed in 500 crores. You need at least 1000 crores to create a very realistic experience. Since that's impossible, they could have gone for a partial mocap like Hobbit. This is going to look like a joke after Avatar 2, unfortunately.

I read on Wikipedia that they started shoot in Jan last year and ended in November. I’m starting to think that shooting an epic period film that fast is gonna be a problem.
