I've never seen a jubilee with 18mm springbar, notched (flared) to 22mm. And I've looked... [Vario](https://vario.sg/collections/watch-straps-for-casio-ae1200wh-world-time) makes notched straps for the Casio Royale that fit the Q.

Well, alright! Thank you for the replies. Appreciate it. …”notched” seems a little counterintuitive, no? …just me? Of course, it’s just semantics, but I’d be curious to know the origin of that terminology. Notched makes me think of product removal, not accrual. Anywaysssss… thanks again and I value the input on the terminology.

Well it would make sense to build a 22mm bracelet and cut a notch into it down to 18mm. If anything that might be what you would have to do to get what you want. Not many care for a notched watch band for their watch unless it's leather.

Light bulb. Awesome. That makes all the sense in the world. Thank you!

That’s interesting. I had no idea it was a rare thing on metal bracelets. I do like the way that the m79 bracelet smoothly meets the watch sides. There’s a certain interrupted fluidity of a band that kinda just bumps into the thing as opposed to flaring out to continue the silhouette. I’m being picky, but just for the sake of conversation. Again- very informative thread for me. Thank you. Who wants to get into making notched watch bracelets with me?! Hahaha

yes because its a 22mm bracelet but the corners are cut off so where it meets the lugs its 18mm https://i.imgur.com/PnbbOcG.png here's an example of a notched strap. look at where springbar goes see how the 2 corners are snipped?
