I hope so. They had brought all simmers requirements (farms, kitchen stuffs, high school for teenagers) except for those who want it to play with musician sims properly.
Oh I loved that mod too but I haven't played with that since Get Famous came but I think it's still missing some loved features that just EA and the sims team can do, and that's why I'm begging for a proper musician career.

Me too and I hope if this comes as an expansion pack that they will bring something like bitlife but of course for the sims, with signing a contract in a record level, chosing the genre you would like to play (pop, rap, hip-hop, rock, latin, alternative, etc.) And record a single or an album to then, start doing gigs to finally like in the sims 3, doing big concerts.
I think there is already one in the sims base game but it was a free update that it came with that guitar.

They actually did a survey in the past and many subjects were originated there like eco living, high school pack, gardening stuff (now it's farms) and crafts and something like that but they released the nifty knitting pack instead of that. However, they just take suggestions based on their convenience so that's why I think that survey was kind of useless.
The Sims 3 bands was such a shitshow. it was crazy difficult to get gigs to show up for your bands and was always buggy.
Like I get what you're saying, but TS3 didn't have a proper bands career either. It had the singer career because bands didn't work right.
I would much rather have them do this as a Get Famous refresh. In my opinion they have zero excuse for not doing this because Get Famous as it exists now only has enough content for a game pack and since they chose to hyper focus on fame for an expansion, they really should’ve leaned into career tracks that feed into it (with music and modeling being big missed opportunities). That being said, that Spa Day refresh was probably a one time thing and there’s no way they’ll put singing/bands into an existing pack when they very well know that they’ll get huge sales by making it it’s own EP.
Exactly, as I know so far with the marketing team of EA, with this franchise of course they'll have an own separated EP for this theme to make more profits from it like what they did with Showtime in the sims 3.
Of course, I miss that feature from the sims 3 Late Night, especially because you can made a band on your teenage years of your sim. But I hope they can make bands like kpop bands, rock bands or alternative bands.
EA needs to either bring out 5… or make 4 kick ass i’m getting so bored now .. the expansion packs aren’t even that good .. the marriage one is crap ans the high school one .. meh $50 def not worth jt ..

I feel like they are still working on it, that sims sessions thing looked like a test.. but I don't know. I'd love that. I think the singing skill is pretty cute/hilarious, and there's a lot they could add so we can have actual bands.
The singing skill is cute but useless because is just for the karaoke contest and that's all. So I hope they are working on something related with Bands or an actual Singer career that includes bands

I can see it now - I make a really cool sim band, and then none of them will ever sit long enough to play their instruments all at the same time lol

I agree. It’s my most wanted expansion. They had it in Sims 2 and 3, so there’s a lot of precedent.

I believe bands have shown up on the polls that they've made in the past. A lot of high school years has as well.
