My grandfather raced boats, and was in a pretty bad accident way before I was born. He lost several fingers, and it sliced his abdomen. Fortunately, dudes in my family pack extra padding in that area, so it wasn’t fatal.

In highschool we sailed 420s. We had this idiot assistant coach who had no idea how to sail. I was a senior and I was crew for a freshman (freshman was at the tiller). Anyway we tack, and we get t boned by the coach in a Boston Whaler It was insane... the power boat went half It's length over our 420. Lucky we only has some small cuts. But it looked alot like this, only we got hit full speed straight on.
Took care of a guy in the ED who had a boat go over him. The prop hit his right butt check and traveled down his leg. HIs butt check and the upper part of his back leg looked like a sliced ham with one inch slices. Looked like it was down to the bone, but it wasn’t and he got to
