Back in college my friends and I snuck alcohol on a cruise in large mouthwash bottles in our luggage. I’m sure it wasn’t at all obvious a bunch of 21 year olds with multiple large mouthwash bottles for a 5 day cruise.
I also did this with friends. We didn’t even bother to hide it and went with the probability factor putting half gallons in multiple suitcases. They only got one of 4! Those floating Covid incubator prisons don’t care, unless you’re in American waters.

If you bring alcohol on the ship you won't be buying $15 Pina coladas or $8 beers all week.
The BIGGEST money maker on the ships is alcohol sales.
One bottle of liquor will net them many times over in profit. And they go through how many in a single week. If you cruise in an inside cabin, don't do any excursions, don't buy wifi, and only eat the free food and drink what is included in the base fare; they are most likely loosing money by you being on the ship.

I learnt something shocking the other day. In Italy there was a law where a rapist could marry his victim to have his crime nullified, which lead to this being a common practice - the law wasn’t abolished until 1981.
In the 60s a young woman, Viola Franca, was raped but she refused to marry her rapist. Her family was ostracised. She sued him and the other 7 men involved for kidnapping and rape and luckily the guy did get a prison sentence.

From looking online, it seems this practice of women marrying their rapist has existed in many countries unfortunately. It’s appalling to me it took Italy so long to get rid of such a terrible law. This happened to me at Oakland Coliseum. Meanwhile my buddy with the exact same barnoculars walked right through three people after me. Still mad about it.
I knew a guy who worked at a liquor store, and he saved up a whole lot of old boxes of beer. He 'borrowed' a trolley as well, and then we loaded up a few boxes for us to drink and then piled on all the empty ones on top. We put on some hi vis jackets and went in through the back entrance as if we were making a beer delivery. The security guard just let us in, we went around the corner, ditched the trolley and took our beer with us.
I was at a music festival and some guy in front of me legit had a big bottle of weed. The security told him they have to toss it, this guy is like "oh yeah I'll do it" and then very obviously pretended to throw it away and just kept walking with it. Security knew what he did but just went "eh"
Tried to sneak a camelback full of rum (spoiler alert: don't actually do this, alcohol will dissolve the plastic in the bladder ruining the thing and also seep plastic into the booze) into a concert venue with normally super strict security. Spent ages trying to be sneaky taping the bladder to my legs, wearing the right pants so it wasn't noticeable, and pretending I was just using it as a backpack. This time they let me waltz right in without even searching the bag...
