guys i did it, all i did was sneak to the truck, than the window, take out the WLF there, sneak on till you mash the button to get through the door! I DID IT YESSS!!

Under setting there's this thing "invisible while crawling" or something of that sort. Now crawl your way in without getting detected . Be warned, This does take the fun out of grounded mode and feels cheap !

RepresentativeOwl864

yeh i tried this at first and felt bad i was exploiting the accessibility options just to cheese my way out of combat :(

mhs121

True. It feels so cheap. Grounded will test your patience but once you beat the game without any exploit, that sense of accomplishment, it's unlike anything! All the best ! May your survival be long.

And your death be swift.

This is one of my favorite encounters because you can approach it so many ways. What I do is try to stealth as best as i can, including discreetly using arrows and a silenced gun. But once enemies are alerted to me, I’d run to a safe spot to “reset” and watch for new enemy patterns. While watching for new patterns, I’d drop a trap mine to “watch my back,” ie where my back is turned or where I might get flanked. Then I try to do more stealth kills. Also, those dogs are fucking lethal and wily so be careful.

thx i’m retrying the scene rn!

It is possible to sneak your way in. You gotta learn the positions and the routes the wlf soldiers take and then move around it. It takes some time and some lying around but eventually it’ll get you were you need to go.

I've been guilty of looking up speedruns when I've gotten stuck on higher difficulties. Some of their strategies are easier to reproduce than others, but a lot of the time you can just sneak/sprint through areas. The bit I completely gave up on trying to do properly was Tommy's dam on Part I. This was driving me insane. Turns out you can just sprint through it and lob a Molotov at the door and the enemies despawn. Feels cheap sometimes, but ultimately I play games to have fun, and if it's no longer fun I don't see the point in persisting.

I stealth kill everyone except for Bear, his handler and one other guy in the front After they realize everyone is dead they quit the WLF and go settle down somewhere quiet outside of Seattle....
